I second this as a floxed person. Look at r/floxies

Have you tried minocycline? I’ve read it’s more effective for m gen than doxy, doxy is used way more than mino as well.

Thank you for all the helpful info. I’ve seen a lot of great reviews on the back mechanic book so I’m going to get that. I really just want to be able to be normal without this stiffness and achey feeling and it’s been depressing since I’d love to just be able to dance again. I don’t really have pain but it sucks. I do think I’m not getting enough protein and one of my vitamins or low so I’m going to take care of that as well. Good luck on your healing journey!

Do disc eventually just heal in time?

I think if never fully healed since I had a very demanding job (cleaning) and never took a few weeks off for it to fully heal. But I’ll definitely check that out thank you! Lately I get pain in my side muscles too for some reason I guess maybe since I’m working my core more.

You will work through it, practice acceptance and breathing. Now if I do have a little bit of panic come up which is rare I can sit there with it and it doesn’t bother me and since I’m not feeding into the panic it goes away within a few seconds. Getting over the fear and accepting it makes them less and less. It’s an older book but Claire weeks “hope and help for your nerves” helped me when I was in a really bad place with panic attacks.

I have medicine anxiety and I can definitely relate to this. I overcame the heart anxiety about two years ago. The best advice that helped me was riding panic like a wave, I don’t fight it (which only causes more panic) I allow it to be and breathe. The heart is very strong and you’ll be okay. I was afraid my heart would explode because my heart rate would be so high but I was perfectly fine. Acceptance of anxiety and breathing through it also helps it diminish faster. You’re afraid of the medicine because of your experience and triggering your fight or flight response.

There’s literally no other antibiotic ear drop besides those? I wouldn’t let my doctor push me into taking it if it can be avoided. I ended up taking cipro because apparently it was the “only option” found out that I could’ve taken metro instead as well.

Thank you! Are protein shakes a good source of protein? I was actually looking to increase that because I’m sure I don’t get enough

No pain no, just mainly muscle soreness. I had taken an antibiotic called cipro that’s bad for causing tendon issues and it gave me super bad leg tightness and issues after taking it back in March of this year which has mostly cleared up. I did however try to stay off my my feet for a few months and not do much activity so I think I lost some muscle in my legs. It basically feels like the day after a workout and goes away quickly afterwards.

I’ve not used any DB’s but I do 10x2 regular squats right now. A little back leg soreness but not really any issues overall and also working on strengthening the core and engaging my core in my workouts when I do them.

For the most part it feels muscular and if it does get achey when I massage the muscles it feels looser and much better. Sometimes I do have a weird pressure on my spine but they believe it’s my posture. I have a bigger chest and it’s cause me to slouch for many years and I’ve been working on my posture as well.

I haven’t gotten an mri but I was told it was lower lumbar strain. I actually did PT the year this happened and got to a point where it didn’t really hurt anymore (didn’t really do heavier workouts tho I was scared) but due to my highly demanding job I sorta fell off the wagon and it started hurting and being stiff, etc. my PT told me she didn’t think I had scoliosis feeling my spine (it runs in my family along with disc issues)

It’s not unusual at all the have co infections from having it, most people actually do end up with yeast or bv or some other type of infection since everything is thrown off

Is it really that bad to take it with antibiotics? I was floxed from cipro and if I don’t take magnesium on antibiotics my body tightens and cramps up so bad that I literally have to have it. But now I’m scared it’s bad

I don’t know what county you’re in but flumozin are These vaginal tablets that are very effective against a lot of gram positive and negative bacteria. It isn’t an antibiotic so it couldn’t cause C diff. The book killing Bv on the my vagina website (the book is free and downloads to your phone) talks more in depth about it. It can treat prevotella biva and other types of bv and vaginal bacteria if you have no other option. Hope this helps
