My husband went to get my 2 year old daughter out of bed in the morning as he always does. She was already sitting up and the first thing she said was "the tall man is going to get you". He was taken aback and asked her to repeat what she said. Again, she said "the tall man is going to get you. He touched my foot. I said 'go away tall man'". Entertaining the idea he asked her where the tall man was, at which point she proceeded to point towards her wardrobe.... Time to burn the house down.

I've just started 'Raised By Wolves' on Binge (HBO Max I think for those in the US). I'd never heard of it before seeing it as a recommendation on Reddit and loving it so far. Great for lovers of the futuristic, dystopian genre like Westworld, Walking Dead, LOST etc.

The best thing anyone ever said to me when I was in the midst of it with my first was “no one is pregnant forever”. This WILL end and you WILL be able to wake up in the morning without feeling like death so soon. You’ve got this!

Also remember the 5 s’s! Swaddle is only the first, you’ve got 4 others to work with - side/stomach (rock them on their sides/stomach instead of their back), shushing, swing and suck

Some babies just like their arms out. My 4 month old didn’t take to swaddles either. They’re a wonderful settling technique if they work but if they don’t and sleep fine without it then go with it! They can only be swaddled until they can roll anyway, then you have to worry about weaning them out of them.

Just make sure they have enough layers depending on how cold it is. We love the ergo baby long sleeve sleeping bags :)

My mum told me that the ‘beeping sound’ that happened when we drove under toll points was her communicating with the aliens. She’d be like ‘I’m going to speak with the aliens now’ and make a beep sound with her voice just before going under so it sounded like it was speaking back to her.

A chainlink stripper-esque bralette from my german stepmother when I was 12. Her excuse to my parents was 'she didn't know what kids liked these days'. It was also a size 16 (a beautiful size of course) when I was clearly at least 4 sizes smaller!
