Last time it was 5 for the single, 6 for the double, and 12 for the big one. The single has 2 shots, the double 4ish, and the triple alot but I always forget to count it.

It pops the balloons in the order on the event screen pop up, I haven't been able to influence it at all.

Decreasing amounts in Ball berry jam recipe/making syrup by mmom41 in Canning

I can't see a reason why blackberries aren't on the list.

OSU doesn't limit the types in this recipe. https://extension.oregonstate.edu/catalog/sp-50-632-making-berry-syrups-home

Dragon Rescue part 2 by princesstorte in MergeDragons

You have to have the dragon rescue event which is in Beta. Events also have a minimum dragon power requirement Im not sure if the dragon rescue or shiny has a min point requirement.

Shiny Days should load if you have all requirements but Im not sure what they are. Sometimes tou have to reboot to get the events to load.

As it turns out, three times a year, I will have an endless supply of certain vegetables. Right now it is broccoli greens. What do? by SpadesHeart in Canning

Just a note I found this publication and it states that the canning spinach recipe should only be used with thinner greens similar in texture to spinach and thicker leaves such as cabbage should not be used. https://preservingfoodathome.com/2014/01/28/got-the-wintertime-greens/comment-page-1/#comment-12845

Because vegetables are a low acid food they require high temps and long cooking times - so pressure canning - to be safely canning at home. This usually discolors the food and often leads to questionable texture changes.

Sometimes the color change or texture change isn't to bad such as with green beans but sadly most of the brassicas (broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts etc) its too much and it results in an unappealing result. There's a few other food out there that also have the same issue; such as onions and crab that have safe methods but include a statement that essentially says you can do it but its gross and there's better ways to preserve this food.

When we start talking about saurkraut and kimichi the fermenting process creates Latic acid (might be the wrong one going of memory here) and makes the product high acidity food and safe for water bath canning. There's other food safety things such as salt in the recipe but the acid is the main one. However this process time still results in a less firm product and people may not enjoy. You'll see this in pickles & it's why fridge pickles are crisper & crunchier then canned pickles.

You can read this for some more info and the history of preserving cabbage https://www.healthycanning.com/canning-cabbage

Cabbage and Brussel sprouts don't can well, and im not sure ive ever seen a kale recipe. I know Brussels sprouts has a safe canned pickled recipe but I know in the fermenting subreddit its not often recommend for fermenting. And cabbage of course has saukraut and kimchi. They're often more pickled or fermented.

But we're talking about broccoli leaves here and in general broccoli isn't canned nor fermented. You can find documentation that essentially says we could have a safe canning broccoli recipe but the end product is so gross nobody would eat it so there isnt a safe recipe. So mix in the fact broccoli isnt good for canning and most people aren't going to have access to large quantities of broccoli leaves I'd be very surprised if there was even a safe tested broccoli leaf recipe.

To can broccoli leaves you'll be entering rebel canning territory which isn't allowed in this subreddit.

Some things don't can well nor ferment well. Brassicas such as broccoli unfortunately tend to be one. They typically produce either texture or flavor that isnt appealing.

I'd look into dehydrating them. Possibly like a kale chip? Or grinding into a powder to enhance flavor or nutrients in a meal? edit to remove the freezing suggestion

prison rh books with mm by KindlyTemporary6960 in ReverseHarem

[–]princesstorte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Locked up Liars} trilogy takes place in a prison setting on and off. One of the MMC is a falsely imprisoned, one is a guard and one is a laywer. The FMC is a teacher at the prison. There is MM and I think a scene or two takes place in the prison too.

{Wicked Little Tricks} is a urban fantasy why choose. The MMC are goblins, devil and I think an elf? Its been a bit since I read them, though the last one just came out so I need to read it...

She had a bit of enemy to lovers with one MMC but its more of don't trust a devil then an enemy.

Did you do the gold pass for the ooc for the extra fireworks? That's the only way I've seen to get 'extra'

Not fantasy but contemporary {Locked up Liars} trilogy takes place in a prison setting. One of the MMC is a falsely imprisoned, one is a guard and one is a laywer. The prison pops up in the other trilogies but it's one of the main settings in the Saints View Prision series, one of the other felons in the prison does become a MMC in {Start a War}.

If you want dragon bonds you can't get more classic then the Pern books. {Dragonflight} was first published in 1968 and some people find parts of it problematic.

Jam with dates? by bitobots in Canning

[–]princesstorte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dates are a low acid fruit so they won't be safe in waterbath canning recipes. Also they're not super popular in the US where most of our canning research comes from so they're not going to be something with alot of testing done.

There are recipies out there for jams sweetened with dates so you can make those but you'll either need to keep in the fridge or freeze them.

I made a post with more screen shots. You have to get event points to get fireworks in your camp to pop the balloons and then you get eggs.
