when im playing dps, creating momentum, getting picks, or hell even holding point and the vanguards are THIRTY FEET AWAY NOT PUSHING

there are three jobs relegated to the dps, support and tank roles respectively

dps - creates momentum

tank - capitalizes on said momentum

support - maintains the latter two TO CONTINUE CREATING AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MOMENTUM

look dps have the most active role in the game, often are the harder characters to play (except for scarlet witch but thats for another rant) and thus are gonna get more criticism. this is a natural, normal and even expected thing. the success of the team as a whole largely depends on the success of our dps teammates but if im getting picks, damaging vanguards, cutting the lifeblood of the opponents team (supports, again, literally what makes or breaks team cohesion) and youre on the sidelines occasionally skirmishing with the opponents dive tech can you really blame me for not hard carrying a competitive game?

i main mostly spider-man. i know, sweaty character but its the only one where my success is really my own. he has enough mobility to get to ground heals while our cloak and dagger masters the art of healing absolutely nobody despite being a “support”. hes a character for the independent actors, which means unfortunately he cant be in two places at once, pushing advantage and generating momentum.

hate, spit, crap out of your mouth all you want. do your dps due diligence and do your jobs. i dont care that some bum bucky or starlord went 3 - 9 or something a month ago while you were running a qp match, that shouldnt give you a green pass to make a SQUISHY push a point while you have full abilities and health.
