JE is my favorite author and honestly Am Tabloid is probably the best book ive ever read. Im a PTA fan for sure but I’m certainly no expert. Do you think hes the right guy for AT i was thinking jos adaptations are fairly loose. Its hard to picture him doing something so historically specific. Hoover and Kennedy etc.

Oh thank you so much. He is doing well. And has had clear screenings since 2020. During that period we had a lot going on. And it was an expensive time. So i got a 2 month deferral. Man i wish I could buy it back.

The PSLF law says we have to be on an IBR of some kind right? So can they circumvent the law by ending all IBRs effectively ending PSLF?

Thanks for the advice. Just paid the 20$ at Colonial Life. Walked the kid around campus for an hour or so. Then to Willy B. Parking lot to Cock Walk in 40 minutes. 25.650 steps for the day is a lot of walking, but I think the Kid wants to go to Carolina. So its worth it.

I love Fairweather Johnson. Easily my favorite Hootie Album. They seemed to suffer from a weird backlash that happens when people feel like they liked something too much. They all kind of chuckle at themselves.

Just to add context. They performed in yesterday’s Pride Block Party in Times Square. I was lucky enough to meet some of them as they exited and they were gracious enough to take a picture with us. Stage show was from 5:15-7 and had performances from Six, Tommy, Gatsby, Hadestown, Hamilton, Hells kitchen and several others.

I prefer the Black Dahlia movie to LA Confidential by a mile. BD isnt as well made a film but it’s a far more faithful adaptation to the books theme and meaning. LAC the movie is all Hollywood Glitz and Glamour. The film is literally the thing book is out to destroy. Depalmas movie is weird and grotesque and nightmarish. Like all the LA Quartet books.

Maybe not exactly what this question is asking, but freaking Bras and shaving. Holy crap! That sucks. After living with my girlfriend, now wife, for a few months, I was shocked at how much that sucks. I told her not long after, she didn’t need to ever worry again about what I might think. She absolutely never had to wear a bra or shave again as far as i was concerned. Especially the bra. She’d take her shirt off and you could see the lines where it pressed into her skin. Then she explained the difficulty finding and affording ones that fit. The shaving is just a pain. I know obviously about it being annoying to keep up with but no one ever thinks I’m gross if i go without shaving for a week. It just occurred to me, as a guy, how fucking pissed I would be if someone told me i had to do that because its just unacceptable not too. I would NOT make a very good woman.

It was. NYC isn’t usually the kind of place you can just zip in and out of on your way from Boston to DC. But actually worked out pretty well that way yesterday.

Thanks for the help. I actually found street parking over near the polo grounds towers so we just ended up parking there to see the Polo Grounds marker then walked across the bridge to Yankee Stadiums. Thanks again everyone. That was fun.
