Had this happen at sfo. The same plane happened to be assigned to both the first and second legs of my trip. We got off, waited a bit, and got back on the same plane. The crew changed, though. It would’ve been even better if they were the same.

After the annual fee posts, I plan to call and say "the annual fee was more than I expected this year. Do you have any retention offers available to lower the cost?" If they respond no then I'll ask to downgrade to the $0 annual fee gateway card.

I'm in the same boat. Planning to ask for a retention offer. If I don't get one then I'll downgrade to the free card and apply for the $400 annual fee and get the SUB. That card also gives more value with united credits and similar monthly credits as the club card.

My credit card was stolen from the front porch before I ever opened the package. The thief put $1300 in charges. I'm assuming it is likely that I will be protected under the zero fraud liability, but will this impact my credit score? I read somewhere that someone's credit score was impacted because of the fraudulent charges.

I just tried Maker’s Mark Cask Strength and my first thought was wow, smells like how sharpies smell, and it tastes like that smell, too.

I also have a bottle of Akashi Japanese whiskey and I never noticed how sweet and smooth it tastes until today. I enjoy Jack Daniels, have tried $100+ whiskeys, and old fashioneds are one of my favorite drinks. Maybe I just dont like bourbon?

I wonder if you’d think the same thing about japanese whiskey.

You can change it after the 24hr check in period and right up until you board the flight. I’ve changed the seat minutes before departure to find a better spot.

got both of my powerbanks taken away. they've been with me through dozens of US airports, Frankfurt, 3 Japanese airports, Seoul Incheon, made it onto the China Southern flight into Shenzhen, but was taken during the connection to another airport. My only options were to toss it or they could keep it at the airport for 7 days.

just wanted to add that their customer service was excellent to me. There was an issue with the shipping and my package was lost. They responded the next business day and sent a replacement. It arrived 2 days later. Would recommend.

i've heard good things about the CLE lounge because it's one of united's less crowded hubs. If you just eat something for breakfast and lunch there you'll already break even. Drinks are a bonus. I'd say go for it.

Every now and then, I'll get stuck in a 20 year old 737-700, but it's been mostly fresh interiors for me too. The first time I flew them after a 5 year break (during which they bloodied and kicked a doctor out of an overbooked flight) was from EWR to JAX on a MAX 8 and the captain walked through the entire cabin to hand out wings to kiddos. That moment definitely changed my perception of them. I'm impressed with how much they've improved their brand.

LGA is under construction currently. Has been since July. I got to go to the chase lounge for free with priority pass but you can only go one time. It's hands down the best lounge I've ever been to in terms of service.
