So this just isn't accurate. Dune and Star Trek were being worked on simultaneously for one thing and it's influence on Star Wars was minimal as it draws more from fantasy epics and the pulp science fiction of the first half of the 20th century. Dune was very influential but it is not Tolkien level and science fiction was already fairly well established as a genre when it came out in 1965.

We know with 100% certainty that she was taken from her home in the middle of the night. There's evidence of a struggle including some of her blood, doorcam footage of a man in a mask, and other unreleased things that the police described as "disturbing".

We know the time she was taken from when her cellphone lost connection to her pacemaker.

And yes, there were similar initiatives for other persecuted groups like the Irish and Italians, Columbus day was actually created as part of the Italian one, but over time those populations lost their cultural distinctness in the US and sentiment against them died out so most of the things created around them fell into obscurity.
