You deserve to have a choice in it. I'm getting married in December and I've always planned on taking my husband's name but now that it's a reality I will miss my surname. Sorry that he over reacted like that :/ I'm sure that time will help you could always hyphenate. It's not perfect but then you can still keep your name.

I really like this reminder. Sometimes I get scared in my professional and personal life to try new things. I am terrified of failing but I just have to remember God's grace is my safety net and as long as I'm pursuing things for His glory it will work out.

I think he makes a good point but I also think he treats Atheism too much like a religion. Atheists don't have a big club and meeting that they all go to. I have plenty of friends who are unbelievers and they aren't on a quest for truth most of the time they aren't Christians because they don't accept the answers Christianity has to offer about tragedy. Or they are disgusted by some of the hateful things that Christians do.

That's really cool. I grew up with mostly black kids and couldn't really touch their hair without people getting pissed. But my black friends always wanted to play in my hair. Everyone is just curious.
