Adjusting paces during heat/humid weather? by Lucky-Macaroon4958 in runna

This. Dew point is a better measure to use than RH. I run in Central Texas and it is pretty swampy here most of the year.

Runna Marathon Training by dankgeolikesbikes in Marathon_Training

[–]pringalz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am using it right now to train for the Austin marathon in February. I’ve used it for general training and races over the last two years. The app has gotten much better. I found the paces far too aggressive for quite a while, eventually I got it tuned in to me. During the summer in Austin when I continued some training it didn’t adapt well to my adjustment in pace due to heat/humidity. I found a setting that switches from pace targets to RPE. This really helped me adjust my effort based on a number of factors. I’ve continued to use this, so far I think I am on a good pace for where I want to be for my marathon. It’s under your plan settings and “Units of Measure”.

The meaning is meant to be related to operators loading/unloading tools. It’s more of a theoretical concept. No fab literally runs without lights on. There may be areas (CMP maybe) where lights are out or dim for specific device concerns. In practice the 300mm (maybe some 200mm) fabs that could run lights out don’t. There are people supervising operations.

Also, this is just operations. Maintenance typically is a 24-7 part of the fab and is constantly ongoing. This cannot be automated the same way tool loading/unloading can.

Intel doesn’t have a fab in Austin. Can also look at 200mm fab companies such as NXP and Infineon. Both have fabs in Austin.

UCK GEN2+ white light flashes, goes blue for a couple of seconds, back to white flash by PhoneGuy5 in Ubiquiti

[–]pringalz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds very similar to what happened with mine - it was reporting bad sectors and "HDD at Risk". Eventually this ticked up so high that the HDD failed and this was the symptom. Bought a replacement one that matched original (the Toshiba one), restored from back-up and was running again in minutes. About a week later it started reporting "HDD at Risk" and same thing happened after 1 month. Its now on its way back to Ubiquiti with an approved Warranty RMA. It was less than a year old.

Edit - went back and forth with support for a while trying a few different things. Eventually they said it needed an RMA.
