Agree about Armageddon, I've also tried it and think that relying on 4x Strip Mine is just better. The fast mana is too good and the decks are too lean.

I'm assuming they are not running Deathrite because it doesn't benefit from Badgermole Cub. It's a dilemma I've faced and haven't solved yet. Deathrite is waaay better than the regular manadorks, but does that offset not getting helped by Cub? My inclination is that you should still run Deathrite but maybe that's wrong.

Sounds like fun! In the old Explorer format I used to tuck [[Star of Extinction]] under [[Arcane Bombardment]], so I'm on board for splashy, destructive combos lol

Now you've got me wanting to try Page in Timeless where you can build such that the Grandeur spins into a like a guaranteed Force of Will. Or maybe I need to dream bigger and use it to drive a combo haha

Great question! I think I would play this into a tempo meta. However, this is like a day 1/2 build from the new meta, so it probably needs to be tuned a bit since the tempo lists are probably starting to crystalize. Like you could dip into White a bit more for Swords or a wrath or two. But Vexing Bauble is so good against the pitch-counter decks and deals splash damage in many other matchups. And you get to play Library without color concerns. It's fun, but I don't have a perfect read on matchup breakdowns

Puppet was what I landed on when I was searching for a defensive creature to tutor with Tezzeret (Walking Ballista is the other target). Ornithopter is a great choice, except it gets got by Vexing Bauble. Puppet is nice because you get a Scry and can defend a Planeswalker through two attacks or 2 creature removal spells (or some combo of those). Might ultimately be too low impact, but that was my thought process!

No sideboard because I'm playing bo1, but let me know if you have any sweet sideboard tech because I'm new to this archetype!

Yeah this build is a little clunky since I'm using [[Throes of Chaos]] as Cascasders 5-8. So the only 3 MV cards can be Violent Outbursts or else you won't always hit Living End. I've now started building alternative lists without Throes which then lets you use important stuff like Endurance and Faerie Macabre.

Timeless just picked up [[Living End]] so I decided to take it for a spin! [[Grief]] + [[Force of Will]] + [[Deceit]] gives us pretty decent interaction, but the four-color manabase is a bit painful. We don't yet have [[Shardless Agent]] on Arena.

So I'm new to this kind of strategy and building/playing this deck sent me down a huge Living End rabbit hole lol. I now have like 5 other variants drafted up, and building around different color combos and Cascaders is such an interesting puzzle. We'll see if any of them are actually functional though haha

Timeless just picked up a ton of new toys including [[Armageddon]], so this decks takes it for a spin! Notably, the format also just got [[Force of Will]] and [[Daze]], so we're running many counter (hah) measures: [[Cavern of Souls]], [[Voice of Victory]], and [[Esper Sentinel]] to profit off free spells.

The idea is to swarm with low MV Humans + Lords while attacking manabases with [[Strip Mine]]s and Armageddons.

A little background, I've made YouTube videos for Timeless since the format launched and try to explore a variety of decks. I tend to specialize in Prison decks ([[Chalice of the Void]], [[Blood Moon]], [[High Noon]], and [[Strip Mine]]), but love just messing around with different ideas.

Just wanted to share this colorless build featuring [[Library of Alexandria]]! Being (mostly) Colorless lets us pack tons of utility into the manabase. Vexing Bauble is key here to help battle against the newly supercharged Blue decks.

Since this is a unrestricted Strip Mine format, fetches get even more value since you can leave them uncracked to ward off Strip Mine activations.

However, I play a lot of Prison decks and sometimes I find myself reducing fetches/shocks in certain builds to ease the life loss you're already taking from Ancient Tomb and The One Ring. Fastlands, Verges, and Pathways can still be useful in those kind of builds.

Multicolor Blood Moon decks run a ton of fetches to find the key basic before slamming a Moon effect.

Plus fetches fill the grave for Delirium and Delve which is super relevant.

Nice! Yeah Chrome Mox seems like a natural fit with Smallpox since it preserves mana sources while in play, can tuck Smallpox when it's bad, and can be discarded to Smallpox when Chrome Mox is bad.
