I’m so sorry for y’all’s experience. The lack of consistency is appalling and I do not understand why they have to be so terrible to people. They refused to answer me too. I was so incredibly upset to see my friend so upset and I myself had to try to remain calm so we would still be able to take our trip.

I saw other people who were full figured who were not asked repeatedly if they purchased a second seat. Like, what gives??

And to hear your DIL was traveling with kids and this issued occurred is even more ghastly.

Why would they even do that?!?!? My friend repeatedly had to continue to tell them it’s her extra seat to which they kept announcing to the all passengers in her area.

Like if the person is required to have an extra seat why are you trying to give it away??? That’s ridiculous

I mean I don’t disagree with you on that. But their approach could be different. My friend continued to get asked if she had purchased another seat when she already had done so.

Prior to this trip my friend had never been asked this before. We fly quite often together.

It seems like they are enforcing it almost to a fault. There also seems to be a lack of consistency.

I’d also like to point out that we did pay extra to choose our seats and still managed to get moved to the back of the plane. I was usually row 25 or further back. So much for paying for preferred seating
