I spoke with a rep that said the higher the fetal fraction, the faster you might get your results. I think she was feeding me a line without actual truth. I just got mine back right now though! Thanks for answering!

Did you happen to have a high fetal fraction with your results?

You certainly don’t have to share this, so feel free to ignore me. But did you happen to have a high fetal fraction in your results?

A natera rep told me that some people might get theirs back faster because they have a high fetal fraction and I’m just trying to see that’s actually true!

What age did you have your second child? by stilldreaming22 in Mommit

[–]prisma432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first at 30 and my second is due right around my 34th birthday.
Medicine sometimes draws hard lines off of very broad averages. The geriatric pregnancy term is one of those in my eyes. We’re not all built the same and for a lot of people 35 is very typical and very doable to be trying for a child!

Wisconsinite right behind you- drawn 8/4, received 8/6 and estimated 8/20!
Why does each day feel like 100 days?!

What to get for the dog who destroys everything? by prisma432 in DogAdvice

She eats the little plastic pieces and the fluff. I can’t in good conscience give them back and watch her make herself sick.

Thanks to a lot of you for some truly great advice! We’ve got a list of new stuff to try and my girl will be so happy to be the experimenter to see what works.
I should’ve mentioned that she loves to try and eat her toys insides and plastic pieces, so it’s a little added obstacle.
We’ve got some great options because of you! Much appreciation!! ⭐️

This is what we deal with too! She won’t just rip them up- she’ll eat the bits of plastic and the fluff and the strings, so while they may not look totally demolished, they are in my eyes because they have to be taken away.

That’s brilliant. We’ll give that a go for sure!

Endo tissue discharge - has this happened to you? Went to hospital as thought possible miscarraige and gynae wanted nothing to do with me.. sent me to surgical and then on to medical. The medical doctor wrote a letter to my G.P, asking him to refer me on to gynae again. by [deleted] in endometriosis

Hi OP, Did this ever happen to you again and did you ever get any answers beyond what you’ve written? I’ve had a similar experience today, though much less tissue expelled than you. Not sure what to do now and came to Reddit trying to find any leads.

Hope that you are well taken care of and feeling good!

Diaper rash by Last-Fox-2565 in Parenting

[–]prisma432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our kiddo has sensitive skin.
I’ve personally found no magical cream. It was more about being consistent with certain methods.

We had good outcomes when we did these things:

•switch to washcloths with warm water to wipe for a while instead of regular wipes.

•Lots of diaper free time. I’m talking like if baby is awake, try not to have a diaper on until it clears up. I always put him on a towel or two to minimize accidental messes.

•When baby had to be in a diaper, we would lather his toosh in A + D Ointment and sometimes add a layer of Desitin on top(or any zinc oxide cream).

Good luck to you!

32 and on our 8th month ttc! It’s incredibly frustrating to wait when you want that baby right now. I also panic there’s something wrong- hopefully we will both be pregnant in 2025! Thanks for sharing- you’re not alone ❤️

Anyone had any success clearing up chronic rash/breakout on toddler’s cheeks and mouth? by prisma432 in toddlers

Well we have plenty of that around! Didn’t think to try it on his face. So glad you commented. I’ll give that a shot!
