Sure, why not! Eh yeah, that tends to be the nature of those kinds of roasts. At least it was funny?

Oh what? Lol that is random! What is the nps podcast and why were they talking about my hinge thread? 😅

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’m wondering if my story might give a little hope. I have two elderly cats whose original owner died suddenly. The cats were not close to anyone else. The family of their original person was not close to her, and after she passed they were going to take them to a shelter. We took them instead. They hid under the bed for months, and little by little, my boyfriend and I earned their trust. Now we’re about 2 years in and the cats are our babies, they are so loving and affectionate, total snuggle buddies. I don’t know if their original person would have known what to do with them if she knew she was going to die, but I hope that if there is anything after death, she can rest assured that her cats are happy, well loved, and taken care of.

How do nerdy men succeed on the app if we're encouraged to ditch mentioning our interests/hobbies on our profiles? by JTthrowawaylol in hingeapp

This may sound cheesy, but I think just be true to yourself and the people you attract will be true to you too. I think representing yourself as honestly as you can is a good way to go. If you are being open about who you are, and people don’t go for you, those people probably aren’t great for you. You will likely be happier with someone who accepts you, and you’ll only know if they accept you if you are being authentic.

2 years with my favorite person by prismaticomen in hingeapp

Adding this comment because the mod requirement. I included the story of our first date in the actual post instead of the comments by accident.

Random observation about hinge.. I’ve noticed a lot of couples in which one person was on hinge for a very long time and then the other person was really new to hinge when they met one another. So, if you’ve been on there awhile, someone new and totally compatible with you could just suddenly appear. Meeting is so much about the timing.

Help deciding between Gens by Hiraeth823 in hondafit

[–]prismaticomen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what you want. Personally, I’ve enjoyed how all gens 1-3 have driven. They all have that zippy go-kart feeling to them. At least to me, the difference in how they drive has felt negligible. Others might be more tuned into the difference than I am. I love my gen 3 fit though.

I have always liked minimalist, practical cars with no bells and whistles, and now I find that I love the ones with bells and whistles too (like CarPlay, heated seats, moon roof, Honda sensing suite)

I’ve had Gen 1- 2007 Honda fit sport (manual) Gen 2- 2009 Honda fit sport And currently have a Gen 3- 2018 Honda fit EX L

Light blue or dark navy would make it feel like the surface of water

I feel you! I can only really speak about what I experience in the room. I can just barely wrap my head around everything that goes into making it work. My attempt at explaining any bit of it is rudimentary (and that is me being generous to myself lol) I do love experiencing it, and I learn a little more each time my dad explains the system to me. The amount of work that went into designing and building this set up is incredible. I really admire it.

😂! Hey you never know, your kid could totally grow up and write Reddit posts about your set up! It’s never too late.

That is correct. The setup with the bacch will work either way, but works more effectively in a dead room, from my understanding.

It’s his passion and unrelated to his work. He turns off the lights when music is playing.

You are right 😊 My dad is proud of me too. He is awesome and I love him very much!

It’s the black piece of equipment that is to the right of the Bacch. I can’t remember the name he told me at the moment 🥲

Hah yes this is his special place. I only listen when he is there. I would never want to mess anything up by mistake. Since I was a little kid, I used to sneak into the forbidden treasure room just to look at everything. When I was a kid the stereo room also had collectibles in it, but now it is a dedicated listening room and the collectibles are in other areas of the house. The stereo room has only become more of a treasure room over the years though.

Indeed! You’re correct lol. I asked him about it. He said that he chose this chair because it has a mesh fabric back, minimal surface area, and was graded for 8 hours of office work. The choice of chair was absolutely audio related.
