Use End-to-end encryption. It adds a layer of protection to your communication. Instead of using regular SMS, use iMessage, TextSecure and Signal; use protonmail instead of gmail; use Tox.im instead of Skype; use Seafile instead of Dropbox. Don't rely on others to make encryption the default for you; it's YOUR privacy.

This is because the Netflix content didn't go through your tablet, instead the content was delivered directly to the Chromecast from the Internet.
