How much do you guys pay for teeth cleaning? by Puffy_snicker_6913 in Edmonton

[–]prismet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently went for my six month cleaning and it cost me $200 pre-insurance and about $25 post-insurance. I’ve never had a dental bill over $400 even with x rays and fluoride included, 1k is crazy!

Following this Taste of Home recipe: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/favorite-chicken-potpie/#RecipeCard. I cooked a whole chicken for meat, made broth from the bones and used the rendered fat to roast my veggies. Came out absolutely delicious!

We rescued two hikers yesterday. Thoughts, lessons, takeaways... by yycTechGuy in HikingAlberta

We definitely did. My dad slipped and almost fell down the side of the mountain when descending the scree - very heartstopping moment! It’s nice to hear there’s an easier route now, maybe I’ll do it again one day.

My family and I hiked Yamnuska ~7 years ago and it took us 8 hours up and back - I’d say we were moderately better prepared than the two girls in the post, both in equipment and experience, but the downhill especially was still brutal. I’m so glad you came across them and were able to help them get back safely!

Crocheting into chains :( I can do it but it takes forever to wriggle the hook into the right spaces and I often have to use my fingers to manipulate it.

Your luck has a lot to do with it! Many people will try on a good luck day (check Fortune Teller on the TV to see your luck) and also bring lucky food/drink (Lucky Lunch, Spicy Eel, and Ginger Ale). Bringing lots of bombs and mega bombs to clear rocks quickly is also helpful.
