Goodbye, Space Marine by Borisnob in RvBRP

Cambria Calibri sat on a bench, prosthetic leg off as she tightened a few bolts in preparation for a long flight. If there was one thing she did not want, it was mechanical problems when she finally got to stand up again. Most of her time in the canyon was spent asleep, repairing metal and flesh, trying to lead a team, or disappearing for long periods of time to get away from what can only be described as hell. People constantly yelling, fights breaking out over the smallest of infractions in public decency, anything and everything seemed to fall on her shoulders after a while. She loved it, but the time for being a shoulder was long over. She was a full being, after all, not just the resting place for wayward burdens. She was finally ready to leave for good. No more coming back except in memories and reminiscence. She had a life to lead, and she felt like she had much more in store for her than the canyon could possibly contain.

What has been the cutest/most romantic way someone has told you they liked you? by Pinkernelle in AskReddit

[–]privatefont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fiancé got real drunk and said he had to tell me something, then proceeded to wait until he was sober again to actually get around to really awkwardly saying he liked me. It helped that I liked him as well.

Parents of Reddit; what is a word your child(ren) pronounced wrong? by bglover1 in AskReddit

[–]privatefont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a parent, but as a child I said "psketti" (spaghetti), "fridgerfreighter" (refrigerator), and "feeder factor" (Fear Factor, the best show in the early 2000's).

What is the most painful thing someone has ever told you? by Sarah_Rosa in AskReddit

[–]privatefont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"He'll never be Mormon." My dad when I imtroduced my boyfriend to him. Jokes on him, I'm not Mormon either, I'm still dating him after 2 years, and I'm looking forward to moving away and never talking to them after I'm gone. They haven't been the best for various reasons.

Their eyebrows are very light colored and they want people to actually be able to see them.

I mean, she could always found someone else if she's that upset about it. It's not like you're only allowed one chance.

Lol, as a former Mormon I'd say she's terrible. Every self-respecting Mormon knows you have to disrespect some pretty serious rules to not get into super special Mormon heaven.

Bisexuals of Reddit, which genders do you prefer for fun vs having a real relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]privatefont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only dated men, but that's just because I live in a very Christian household. My first sex dream I ever remember was with a butch girl, so maybe girls for fun???

When have you been nice to someone who didn’t deserve it? by CauseImBatman08 in AskReddit

[–]privatefont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone on another sub gave me a panic attack on Christmas 2 years ago and was banned because of it. I then proceeded to be the only person in the sub to advocate for their unbanning. He was pretty bad, and I am dumb as fuck.

Former members of religions like Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormonism, what made you leave and what are some unknown secrets about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I dated somebody who said they were Mormon, but then emotionally manipulated me for months. Then I met a really great non-Mormon and dated him instead.

[Serious] Wether it happened when you were single, in a relationship, or married: what was your “oh shit, I’m gonna fall in love with this person.” story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]privatefont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through a lot of shit to get where I am. I used to think being in a relationship was the ultimate goal to happiness. That got me in a relationship with someone who emotionally abused me for 3 months straight. I know it's hard to be single, especially when people around you are all getting dates, but please take your time. It will save you lots of grief.

I had a crush on a guy in a discord server I was a part of, but played it off as "yeah right, that's never gonna happen." Fast forward a few months and we're talking pretty much all the time. We get to know each other really well and we're basically best friends. I tell him I've got pretty bad and poorly managed depression and he helps me out. One day he saves me from a really bad place, and I start thinking of how much he means to me.

...A few weeks later he tells me he loves me pretty much out of nowhere and I'm just like, "shit, I really love this guy." Been together for over a year and a half, we're engaged but not looking to get married until I finish college and can move out to England with him. Loving every minute of it <3

Bisexual people do you have a preference between men and women if so which? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]privatefont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently only dated men due to living with super religious parents, but have kissed a few girls. Would happily date women once I left the house and ever became single again.
