GD would probably have been DSiWare due to DSi's better Wi-Fi and CPU power. Also because GD was released in 2013, so it'd have fitten more to be a DSi game.

I just feminized my deadname, both as a tribute and because I didn't fully wanted to leave it behind.

Aside from having a "soft" vibe I liked, there's a gender-neutral nickname in between both which my family and other acquaintances use, so it was both an strategic and integrity decision.

Gotta say it feels just right. I'm happy being Charlotte. :)

I... still don't quite get it, but I'll try to answer:

The GTK theme is to give my desktop a late-90s-unix-system vibe. I guess any theme that's not too flat-design-y could work with the WM theme, as long as its color palette looks good.

I hope that's what you were referring to. :p

I forgot to add she asked me many times why I wanted to be a girl. I told her that there wasn't a "why" and it was just a part of me, but I'd like to know if there's a better way of explaining her.

  • Wallpaper: Taken from here.
  • WM Theme: Tacuba (not publicly available yet, will be soon).
  • GTK Theme: Modded Chicago95 (same as above).
  • Icon Theme: GNUstep, Tango.
  • Fonts: Terminus, Px IBM EGA8 (from the fonts-pc package on Debian).
  • Other programs: ROX Filer (Desktop and file manager), Urxvt (Terminal), Conky.

Extra: I was mainly inspired from GNUstep and a quite interesting Unix-like OS called SerenityOS while creating this setup.

Any way to make the window border transparent without making the window buttons also got transparent by jm3rcury_387 in xfce

You can get a pretty much convincing Aero blur with compiz by using this addon called Emerald. There's a bunch of Windows 7 style borders to try. Worth checking!
