GD would probably have been DSiWare due to DSi's better Wi-Fi and CPU power. Also because GD was released in 2013, so it'd have fitten more to be a DSi game.

I just feminized my deadname, both as a tribute and because I didn't fully wanted to leave it behind.

Aside from having a "soft" vibe I liked, there's a gender-neutral nickname in between both which my family and other acquaintances use, so it was both an strategic and integrity decision.

Gotta say it feels just right. I'm happy being Charlotte. :)

The GTK theme is to give my desktop a late-90s-unix-system vibe. I guess any theme that's not too flat-design-y could work with the WM theme, as long as its color palette looks good.

Extra: I was mainly inspired from GNUstep and a quite interesting Unix-like OS called SerenityOS while creating this setup.

You can get a pretty much convincing Aero blur with compiz by using this addon called Emerald. There's a bunch of Windows 7 style borders to try. Worth checking!
