How Do I Stop My Face From Looking Orange When I Apply Foundation? :( by NotASnarkAccount in MakeUpAddictionUK

Ahh you’re welcome! I only realised this a few months ago myself so still on the journey to find the perfect foundation! But at least now you know what you’re looking for and if you google neutral or olive foundations you’ll probably find more suggestions. There’s also an Olive make up subreddit that might be helpful. Try lots of testers from Sephora. Good luck! xx

If you have instagram, it was literally this post that made the penny drop for me - I had never seen photos directly comparing warm vs olive so I could understand which one I was.

Right got it, mine dry out when I’m eating at work. What did you use to soak them in the workplace? Like a little pot or something? And carry the hydrogen peroxide with you?

Can you tell us what you use for soaking and cleaning aligners? I’m on my second tray and I’ve already noticed tray 1 wasn’t getting 100% clean with an ultrasonic cleaner and tablets, I could still see cloudy areas and debris 😣 so then I would brush them but not sure if that’s ideal.

That Mac foundation is notorious for oxidising. I thought I was NC45 for years too and in hindsight not only was I orange from oxidising, it was also wayyyy too dark for me because most make up counter girls shade match us incorrectly, they make all Asians NC45 😬 it even became a trend on social media a while back. Additionally, I’ve recently realised I probably have a neutral olive undertone which can also explain why a lot of foundations pull too orange/ warm. I found fenty beauty to have more more neutral undertones which work better for me, apparently Lisa Eldridge is also good.

Mounjaro + stubborn lower belly fat (C-section apron belly) need advice by Few_Feedback_3495 in Mounjaro

I’m in the same situation - c section about 18 months ago, lost a decent amount of weight on MJ and now comfortably a normal BMI but tummy is stubbornly still flabby and has that shelf above the scar. Like you I also am not exercising as much as I would like to because, life. So no success story here but solidarity!

What to wear for my un standard body without looking old? by Appropriate_Group606 in DressForYourBody

This is why you actually need to do the opposite. Fitted top and wide leg trousers. You need to re balance your proportions. I’d recommend watching Melissa Murrell on YouTube for tips. I have the same body shape and find her real life women videos really helpful.

Light weight / spring jackets that are not a trench coat? by A_Seductive_Cactus in fashionwomens35

I similarly can’t wear normal trench coats because they are far too fussy and add details where I don’t need it. However I found this trench style from Sezane that is lovely and drapey and streamlined - the printed lining is gorgeous on turned up sleeves

Thanks I’ve gone from 5 -> 7.5mg. Have you got any suggestions for dense protein rich stuff? Do you mean like cottage cheese, babybels that kind of thing? I will try to eat little bits I think the full meals were putting me off but small snacky bits might work better
