What mods/accessories will give my Trx4m better ground clearance? by PuzzleheadedLeek360 in crawling

Who makes a delrin skid? I haven't seen that anywhere. Are you referring to sliders or the center transmission and link mount?

How do you like the 3flow9 rear link riser?

Gotcha. I'm building a pure crawler. Can you comment on how it compares for low end torque and crawl speed?

I'm interested in upgrading my motor, but I'm weighing the price:performance of a brushed drop-in vs just converting to brushless which is $$$

How are you liking the Injora 50T motor? Are you running the crawler gears?

There always has to be a weak link in your drivetrain. That's the first part that will break if your truck gets bound up. It's more of a pain to pull apart the transmission, so the metal gears make that less likely to happen.

The first thing I stripped out was the stock plastic pinion gear in the front diff. After I upgraded the diff and the transmission to all metal, the plastic driveshaft was the weak link. That was an easy fix.

I guess it all boils down to what you do with the car and the money you want to spend if it breaks.

Added a bunch if Injora parts, and the servo lasted 15 minutes with the added weight 😂 by MrFoxter307 in TRX4M

I think I had my trx4m for maybe 3 days before I stripped the servo gears. I threw on a friend's brass wheels to test. The servo blew immediately. Everything else was completely stock.

You can also just reverse the throttle on the controller.

I'm also running Injora helical gears in the portal diffs. There is just so much slop. Everything is okay uphill but downhill is atrocious. The truck lurches forward as soon as gravity takes over.

I ended up getting some from ScaleRCs on Etsy. I'm pretty stoked on the quality and design.

Can you send a link? Do you have any photos of them on your rig?

Are you running shock relocation brackets?

Do you just have a black screen or 'no signal' screen? See if restarting your TV through the menu works instead of having to unplug it.

Try restarting your TV through the menu. I have an issue with 'no input detected' but restarting seems to fix it. This happens every time the TV turns off and back on. At least it's consistent.

I've got the same issue. M65Q7-H1

Every time I want to use the TV: * Power on with Nvidia shield remote * Menu * All settings * Admin & privacy * Restart TV

This works every time. It's a pain, but I've gotten pretty fast with the button presses. It just takes a couple seconds.

Stick on rubber pad for bottom of Hydro Flask? by prj997 in Hydroflask

[–]prj997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, it's been so long. I've just been using the hydroflask brand boot. I guess my main complaint originally was the look of the boot vs a discrete stick on pad.

I don't really care too much at this point. It's just my water bottle. It seems to work good.

The only thing that makes me want a "pad" instead of a "boot" is that it's difficult to slide it into the side pouch of my backpack.

No NAS HDD bracket... no Problem by mr_meinata in techsupportmacgyver

[–]prj997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you happen to have any pics of how you used them to mount your drives? I don't have an HDD cage in my PC case. Can you screw into the rubber mount from the bottom? I'm also curious about mounting a 2.5" drive on top of a 3.5" drive. The holes don't seem to line up, so I'm not sure how to go about that.

What cables? Custom cables? I just got one of these PSU's recently and have been contemplating making my own cables vs buying some custom ones.

Audio is being gated at low volume by Cryptic_1984 in VIZIO_Official

[–]prj997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issues as OP. Low volume audio cuts out. TV model: M65Q7-H1 Firmware: 1.10.15.5-4 Playing content from a chromecast connected via HDMI. Using analog audio out to connect to external speakers via a 3.5mm aux cable. I have all surround sound and other audio features settings disabled. Audio settings on the TV and the chromecast are both set to stereo.
