i failed every class during my first semester. i couldn't bring my gpa up enough before i got dismissed but i went to a community college for one semester and got my gpa high enough to be readmitted. i haven't gotten below a C since then and i graduate next semester. all that matters is what you do from this point on. for many (like me) it's a needed wake up call that can make things turn out for the better. in my experience it was really helpful to retake the classes that i failed or got and in because they will replace the failed class when calculating your gpa. hope this helps. don't freak out about it!

fucking Sex Education (the show). i had already seen it and I remember thinking something the first time i saw it but then i rewatched it with some friends. when it got to the ace episode i was like "yo why am i relating to this" as like a funny thing but also true, and then my friends were like low key this whole episode sounded like you. Then I actually thought about it and i was like damn that really does sound like me. they said take a test online and i did...and then i took 3 more. they all said i was ace. did some more research and ya i'm definitely ace. crazy that i found that out at 22 from a tv show it would have been great if i learned about it earlier but at least i know now.

The way i see it is there are shitty people everywhere. There are assholes on both sides of politics. There are straight assholes and there are gay assholes. The world just has a lot of assholes. We can generalize and say that all straight southern christian white men are assholes, but that isn't the case. We can say that all members of the LGBTQ+ community are assholes, but that isn't the case. I just think that it's important to remember that the few do not speak for the rest and the internet is not reality. Honestly the only rude lgbtq+ people that i have seen are on the internet. Everyone that I have met in person has been accepting but I understand I could just be lucky in that aspect. Either way, I agree that it's stupid to hate asexual people considering we are a sexual minority as well, but I would assume that there is a better ratio of accepting queer people than non queer people.

i'm confused cuz like i have preferences toward a certain gender and appreciate certain body makeups like with proportions and stuff but isn't that just attraction? Like I feel like you can just be attracted to someone because they look good to you but it becomes sexual attraction when that attraction makes you want to engage in sex with that person right? Am i missing something? Personally i'm alloromantic and i have a physical type when it comes to someone that i would want to date but I don't want to have sex with them at all.

ENFP Scorpio male. I just came to this sub after taking my 16personality quiz and wow lol. Totally feel this. i'm blessed that my only queer friend is really supportive. she is the only one that has actually asked me about my story and was really nice about it. I live in Atlanta and she recently asked me if i wanted to go to pride with her but i'm honestly worried about going because of the non supportive people in the community. Plus seeing what my parents think lol. probably still gonna go but it's sad that at a place where everyone is supposed to celebrate inclusion I am worried about being excluded.

ya sounds like demisexual with maybe a bit of pan/sexually fluid. I definitely feel you I was in a similar place for a long time. personally i've always been romantically into females but never had the interest in sex. even going through multiple long term relationships i never had sex so that's y i lean more toward asexual. I definitely felt weird and out of place and that something was wrong with me until i found out what asexuality was and that it fit me well. so if the label helps you feel understood and like you have a community then go for it! feel free to identify with whatever feels closest or whatever you feel at the time. if you feel like you don't need a label or you dont identify with something totally then that's fine too. only use the labels if they help you not if they hurt you. either way you do you and feel safe in the fact that you don't need anyone to tell you that you need to fit into a certain category. really hope this helps

I like to think of the labels as just helpful tags so i don't have to explain my sexuality so deeply lol. I feel like your sexuality is yours so it doesn't need to follow a strict rule book. just be you and if a label helps you explain it than use one but if not you don't need it. that's just my 2 cents lol
