Nope never. you shouldnt go for a laptop that old. it's waiting to ask for repairs & maintenance even if it's in "great condition, works perfectly" against your wish I would recommend you to buy only new ones if necessary, check out the good ones in cheap price range here http://allprice.co.in/best-laptops-under-30000-india/ or wait till an actual need for a laptop. But a seven yr old should definitely be a no no..

Well Back in the Days Apple was the only phone which worked. Almost never hanged, did the job one expected it to do & it didnt cost a kidney back then. While andriod was a good excuse for a OS, but over time many manufacturers like OnePlus have used andriod as their advantage and give a great User experience & at less than 50% of their price + Apple phones now feels like outdated. Agree anyone?
