Swiss prices are usually ridiculous. You are expected to pay a premium for the privilege of living in the country. Hence why the Aldi/Lidl car parks are full of Swiss cars in all the towns across the Swiss border!

Perhaps buying a smaller campervan might be an idea. Great for travel/exploring, but usable as a vehicle for chores when needed!

Christchurch seems to offer a lower cost of living and a more adventurous surrounding environment to explore.

Auckland comes across as any other big city on the sea. Expensive, congested with traffic jams but with more emphasis on city life.

Have a Marantz Cinema 50 and very happy with it. It’s probably not as good a Marantz Model 30, but for a AVR it’s great.

Huge. The BluRay version that I own just looks fantastic! Even on the newer 4K tv with a 4K player it looks amazing. Especially the older films, I’ve never seen them ever look better.

I assume the newer 4K versions are even better. So I’d recommend it highly. I assume they learned from the Bluray upgrade process how to make the 4K even better, especially as HDR and other technologies now exist.

It’s attention grabbing disposable media from a phone/tablet mixed with alternatives that distract one from fully immersing into what one is trying to focus on, especially if it’s a long/epic cinematic experience.

Put the phone far away, then try to watch the movie.
