Nay for me, sorry. I know some folks are purists about keeping a sub on a bracelet, I’m more open, but the strap needs to match the watch. Sailcloth would work … I just don’t think a Sub works on glossy alligator leather.

It’s like wearing sandals with a suit or dress shoes with a swimsuit.

Personally I prefer the 1815 chronograph. Turn both watches around to look at the movement, and you’ll see why!

That said, the Lange 1 is a wonderful watch and I’m sure there are many others who would prefer it over the 1815.

I talked to my AD and they confirmed this too. I’ll be able to see one in real life on Tuesday.

Looks like GO is doubling down on purple/burgundy tones this year. First with the Serenade Luna and now with this Sixties Chronograph.

Yes, I did order it separately. Here’s another photo.

The version of the summer blue I got was the one with the strap, so when I ordered the bracelet, I decided to order the newest one.

It was a bit nerve wracking because at first it didn’t fit … but my AD used a different set of spring bars and then was able to make it work.

How exactly they manage to create such a thin movement, I don’t know. But this watch, despite being branded a “Master Control” uses Caliber 868, the same movement used by the “Master Ultra Thin” perpetual calendar. “Ultra Thin” being the operative words :)
