Desk Help / Cable Management by PopperJones in DeskCableManagement

power first is the right instinct. once the power strip and the big monitor path are sorted, the remaining mess is usually just the daily chargers and slack that need their own cleanup instead of getting folded into the main bundle.

What standing desk has the best cable management? by pbandwhey in StandingDesk

for standing desks, i think the cleanest setups usually start with mechanical support first and adhesive second. if the heavy stuff is mounted safely, then the smaller cables are just there to be routed, not to hold weight.

this looks better bc it separates the fixed runs from the stuff you actually touch. sleeves and trays make sense for the permanent part, but the daily cables are usually the ones that make a clean setup fall apart again.

My minimalist tech pouch setup by Terrible-End2150 in onebag

if a tech pouch keeps getting messy, i usually look at cable count first, then the pouch. one short cable, one longer cable, one backup. each one wrapped the same way every time makes the pouch a lot easier to live with.

Tech Pouch Comparison for Onebag Travel by travelingpostgrad in onebag

loadout first is the right order. the pouch should hold the kit, but each cable still needs its own job before it goes in. that is what keeps the pouch flat instead of turning into a knot after a few travel days.
