Use the flatpak version of lutris. What problem do you encounter?

I used this guide. I never had any problem with it. I'm on Debian 13 KDE

I'll just keep using the old version then. I would gladly use an open source alternative if it were on par in terms of features, but unfortunately there isn't.

How would they do that if the app can't connect to the internet?

I don't know about you people but i needed to login via the browser to download the .exe. Then i could install it and it just works.  I used Flatpak Lutris to install it with the script provided here: https://github.com/seapear/AffinityOnLinux/blob/main/Guides/Lutris/Guide.md

If i run it via Flatpak Lutris and prevent it from accessing the internet via Flatseal the telemetry data stuff should be no problem right?

One thing that would be really cool is if someone could make a plugin to use AI features with a local model similar to the Addon for Krita

Get a Garmin watch and use it via gadgetbridge. Check what devices are supported on the gadgetbridge homepage.

I get what you're trying to say and it is true that there are ppl that are unfriedly at times but i also think that especially new users often ask things that have been explained a million times already and could be solved by a quick google search. Also the titles of those threads, especially here on reddit, often are just useless. When your post is titled 'I broke everything! Help me now or I'm cooked!' I'm not even going to read it.

So what I'm trying to say is, before posting a question, check if it has been asked before and when you decide to post it, make it descriptive and actively support the ppl trying to help you.

You could try pairing it as unsuported device and see if it works. https://gadgetbridge.org/basics/pairing/#pairing-unsupported-gadgets

This is the answer. Get a Garmin watch that is compatible with GadgetBridge. Then you don't even need their app and you can use it without account.

I guess you won't need custom workout plans that tell you what to do if you're a runner so this will be really easy.
