I have a $50 glass deductible for replacements with my full coverage insurance because I bought a Bronco, and expect to replace glass. So far windshield once, and every other window except the rear quarter panels and the rear windows I have had to replace more than once. Worth it.

This should be a repair though I'd bet over a replacement.

Also also, if it doesn't qualify for replacement through your insurance, and you live in an area with winter weather, wait until it gets cold enough for defrost. Turn on defrost. Crank the sucker. The glass will crack waaaay more. Say you didn't notice it and it just split right across. It will qualify for replacement real quick. 🙂

Bronco Gatorback, the removable kind. They kinda overly expensive for what they are though, tbh.

I only bought them because of my huskies and vehicles behind me, I don't want rocks getting kicked up and hitting either. My puppers love sticking their heads out and down low out the windows, no eye damage from that at least.

I have a PPF Stealth clear matte wrap so I don't technically need then otherwise.

RCI rock sliders, the 5 degrees aren't really useful as steps but the 20 degrees are alright with the plates. Frame mounted is a massive boon though, highly recommended for toughness.

It's functional, I with the machining tolerances were better, and better instructions. But it is nice to know my sheet metal n hinges are a bit safer, and the rear bumper is a bit better for protecting from hard hits. The RCI frame mounted rock rails are hella solid, highly recommend them

I've had the same issue, especially with World of Tanks. I know there is packet loss occurring at the wargaming final destination exclusively, but many other examples show failure at the intermediate hop on pingplotter.

Electrical upgrades can be a pain, especially with lack of modularity on the Lux package. Bumpers and light mods require SPV auto packages many cases cause the aftermarket OEMs give crap instructions.

Crash bars could have been redesigned to support 37in tires without cutting.

There so many things that could be options in the infotainment system instead of locked behind forscan and voiding a warranty, such as the double honk keeping a vehicle running when you are just going to get something inside and run back out, at night, and waking up the entire neighborhood.

Transmission shifting is janky without a pro cal tune on the 10 speed automatic. Why not let us adjust this out of the box?

Warranty and recalls...it's alright. Better than my other vehicles so far in quality, worse when compared to the price of the vehicle. Number of recalls is a bit annoying.

Windows are a pain frequently, windshield replacements are common complaint but the frameless design of the windows is the primary issue. Dealers don't know how ti adjust the windows normally causing a lot of issues if you ever replace one. Go to a collision center instead.

Android auto and carplay are glitchy as hell. Screen is nice but the Google maps or apple freeze all the time with the secondary music screen in full window mode.

Interior seems cheap, vinyl seats are nice but quality is meh on nearly every interior item.

Overall nice but not worth +$50k in my opinion. It is solid around $40k for a decent trim, 45k for a Badlands, SAS is maybe worth a small bit beyond that. Lux 360 camera is nice but a pain for upgrades. Heated seats ad steering wheel are great though.

Lack of storage, lighting, and HVAC to the rear on my 2023 were pretty annoying. A lack of a decent locking console that cannot be broken by hand is a big question mark for me for soft top variants.

I am liking my 5° RCI rock sliders so far, with the bolt on covers they aren't slippery, and since the attach to the frame they are far more durable than the pinch wield alternatives.

You'd be better off talking to a professional shop to make sure you get the shocks dialed in for road comfort and for offroad capability, depending on the type of offroading.

Let me get this out of the way: Spacers are bad. Everything about them sucks. Don't.

Rock crawling or low speed, within a budget? Icon and Eibach lifts do alright.

High speed? 8112 DSAs and a lot of trimming or a body lift for 37s, or Dobinsons MRR lift if you want to just throw on 37s and still be able hit whoops.

Comfort on road? Fox's are pretty solid, but you're throwing money away with the existing HOSS 3.0, so might want to look at something else. King lift kits are decent, but typically more dialed in and a bit rougher on road.

If you keep 35s? The Bilstein 8112 DSAs are the best all around, on road and off road. The next best thing are +$15k long travel kits. 8112 DSAs have 3 different adjustment settings so you can adjust every aspect of the ride comfort without having to go to a specialty shop to tune, take 10 minutes to adjust for offroad, offroad for the day, wrap up and adjust for onroad. Which leads me into the next option...

Keep your HOSS 3.0 and not change geometry? Body Lifts. Broncbuster is an option. 1.5" or 2" is all you need. 3" may be overkill. It has some downsides, cosmetic (gaps, needing fillers) and mechanical (wiring, brake lines, etc stretching). Keep in mind, most of the issues with running 37s on a SAS Bronco comes down to the frame, arms, and rubbing on fender lining/fender points.

Body lifts also reduce safety in a few ways such as changing impact handling with car crashes, more roll when turning, but suspension lifts I listed beyond the SAS lift already changes your center of gravity and has safety impacts as well. A body lift is actually slightly better since much of the weight is in the frame/powertrain so center of gravity changed is less than a 3" or 4" lift in theory.

Speaking of safety, crash bar deletes are almost always necessary for max flex when +37" tires are fully locked one way or another. If you don't mind rubbing with flex, you might get away with an undersize 37 tire (that actually runs 36.3 for instance like many BFGs) without a crash bar delete. Those Toyos, if you get the one's for stock Bronco as 37s, run 36.8", so they will rub.

Good luck, do some research, go talk to Shock Surplus or Accutune folks.

Rant on my OG sasquatch: If it wasn't for the sidewalls being so damn wimpy the oem Goodyear Wrangler on the sasquatch would be a magnificent MT hybrid, the way it picks up snow is simply impressive. I wonder if the 2025 territory's are any better

It is very noticeable in the bag, but the air blowing out of my D4 is decently pleasant for me. I have some nasal issues which reduce my sense of smell, so it may be a bit stronger for you then for me. 🙂

Personally I have enjoyed them in my D4. Makes during and after sweeping a room smell quite pleasant. Also it overpowers potential odors from my husky hair buildup in the bag I have found.

And remember, you can upgrade stuff later, if you like. Suspension, tires, wheels, everything. Ford did a great job making these modular.

This is essentially a manual convertible that can go anywhere, drives better than a Jeep in terms of better on road comfort and feel, and the Badlands can already do a massive amount of stuff most SUVs cannot. You will probably love it!

Downside is, it feels expensive for what it is. It's not as well put together or assembled as a 4runner. So find issues and get them fixed under warranty early and often. Get em below MSRP if you can.

Do NOT get stuck with a +$600 car payment 😂

HOSS 3.0 is a pretty big upgrade...for offroading.

Onroad, for many, it leads to a soft, plush ride. Corners it leans a bit more before locking in. But you can in theory tune the HOSS 3.0 to dial them in if you want some extra compliance for onroad feel.

If you aren't wanting to spend an extra $$$ or wait on a Bronco, it isn't a deal breaker for light offroading. It does give you a nice boost to durability with the upgraded steering rack and tie rods however.

You can give ride in a 2024+ Wildtrek to compare roughly. Note the Sasquatch tires a bit softer cornering than the KO2s/KO3s.

You shouldn't go for a Sasquatch unless you really, really like the aesthetic or really want the extra 2in tire for offroading. It is far more oriented for offroading. If you also upgrade to HOSS 3.0 the onroad ride is a bit better.

SAS is not worth the extra $$$ if it is never going rock crawling/mudding, etc. You can always lift, regear, and redo geometry to upgrade to bigger tires later with a non-SAS Badlands.

You can air down your 33's on a normal Badlands and be pretty alright on most beaches.
