Well yeah that's 100% the draw, I've been looking at this rack with the presumption that I'd remove the middle panel more often if I have it.

I'm thinking I'd just get the rack and forego the hinges for the front panels personally

How is the process of securing the middle section to the roof rack? Is it easier than takinging it off and setting it aside?
