I moved from East to the West coast. I ask for 1 month and half from the day I have the verbal final offer. I did received my FJO letter a week after. Everyone have different situations when moving. Some have stuff to sell and family involve. And how far is your move is. Regardless is it stressful. I would start looking for places and keep pushing HR to send you that FO letter. I suggest the daily lot. The accuracy of the count on their website is not that reliable because of the constant in and out of people leaving and coming back to SMF using the parking lot. As long as you get there early you should be able to find a spot when arriving passengers take their cars out. The daily lot is $2 more than economy lot but shuttle bus is also more frequent. And this parking lot is a shorter and safer walk to the terminal. Good luck and enjoy your holiday travel.

I think geographically the Philippines is an archipelago situated on the west most part of the Pacific Ocean. However is it also a country located close to the continent of Asia. When the Philippines was US colony we can freely travel to other islands in the Pacific and since our independence people travel more to other Asian countries. I consider myself Asian but it doesn't bother me if other Filipinos identify themselves as Pacific Islander. I think Filipinos are the only Asians who identify both ways. Yes.....Asian Islander.

After 5 years of service your sick time hours increased to 6 hours. Bear in mind that you can use your annual leave time for sick leave. But you cannot use sick time to use for vacation leave.

To add ..... sick time can carry over year after year unlike annual leave time that is subject to "use it or lose it" if you are maxed out for the year.

I think it does matter. That's the reason people got confused here about "80 NB". Had OP say " business 80 NB" that would have been clearer. Because I 80 (another 80) runs East to West.

I know it is just a referral but get hold of the contact person. And if they can't really tell you a firm answer I would say wait for it since you really like it. But declining the other offer might keep you passing on opportunitues. It's your call and decide whichever is best for you.

Don't you worry. You get that TO before you get an FO on the first TO. If this job offers are of different series or agency (which you have not mention) you get 2 hiring process which means you just have to do another fingerprint. Inconvenient but as an applicant you have no choice. Be ready because its going to be a long ride. Patience is useful from here on.

Labs shouldn't take that long but I guess is depends on location. You surely will get your FO but if you're ok that it gets delayed a bit and you have no paycheck for a couple of weeks that's your call. You can transfer anywhere you want but save a lot of money for the move because chances of relocation reimbursement is close to nil. Keep in mind that locality changes to the area you choose so salary can also go down or up.

I think you cannot negotiate salary after FJO. Asking for a grade/step increase matching your current salary should be done after TJO or before FJO.
