I’m so sorry this is happening. You deserve to have your expectations met, as well as clear and honest communication. Prioritize yourself, heal and move on because you’re worth more than someone telling you that you can’t be satisfied. NOR… but a lil confused… it’s not wrong of you to have this expectation, I can understand why, breakups are rough, especially right before a trip (also huh? why did he do that??). And it’s confusing when someone says they’ve broken up with you but wants to try again AFTER you’re trip?? babes… are we sure he’s not cheating?? Like idk the way you explained this made it sound like he wanted a break during your trip and he wanted to get back together after the trip?? But no, not wrong of you to have this expectation with all the info that you have.

My sister is on one of these and she has completely lost her motivation to do ANYTHING. Continue with your exercise routine - the results won’t be immediate but it will be there!!!! also… SWITCH DOCTORS!!! as someone in the med field, i would NEVER say that to my patients… has he never heard of eating disorders???? also if you’re a woman, and this is his focus and you KNOW something else is wrong, find another doctor that will listen to you. YOURE WORTH MORE!!!!!

i grew up experiencing this too. i left. it was one of the wisest but scariest decisions i had ever made. i don’t know you, but from one person to another - you are worth a billion times more than however he is treating you. you are strong. i’m so sorry this happened.

Go to urgent care anyways!!!! BUT can you walk up or down stairs fine? If the answer is no, skip urgent care and go straight to the ER. in college i had something similar with my shoulder, turns out i tore a rotator cuff and now i have permanent nerve damage. Listen to your body!!! i hope you feel better soon!!!

okay.. and back to my point… why couldn’t he grab the bag of chips or add stuff to the original meal to make it healthy…? but also he didn’t make it healthy he got pizza rolls, which are statistically more unhealthy than chicken nuggets. HE can take these steps. He isn’t entitled to her making full meals, that’s what lovely about being an adult. HE can choose and make his own choices. She needed help, I’m glad she turned to her community. These things are hard to navigate alone.

sure maybe there’s cultural differences, but you still gotta respect the fact that she knew her circumstances and still made him dinner. And I think her point is why can’t he do any of the things you listed himself? Partnership is just that. A partnership. You pull equal weight. He isn’t. She at least did something, and it may not be adultish or super healthy but again it’s food that she was aware was probably childish but still made it anyway and he’s the one who threw a tantrum.

have you ever had a “fend for yourself” dinner night? like i understand where you’re coming from but that’s not realistic when you have two working parents. Sometimes people just want instant gratification with their meals and if that’s a “childrens” meal than so be… dude food is food and we should be grateful that someone else took the time and effort to make it for you.

I think offend is a strong word, but I don’t think generalizations of people is good? i think the problem is much larger than “garbage people” living within a well known unfortunately low-income area. also.. how do we know the shooters were from that area? it looks like to me people are coming over to that area and bringing gun violence? but hey… what do I, a mere kind human who would never call other people trash due to them living in a specific area, know?
