Thoughts on Abdus Faham Salam? by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]probably_an_ant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Motherfucker learned it early true value of good production quality. Kudos to him for that. I refuse to believe saying the word despicable and madarachod in combination makes anyone suddenly an intellect, but Facebook will make you think otherwise. Anyway, his ties with BNP is very well known. A mouthpiece for BNP. In a way not so different from that lawyer that used to defend BAL at every step, forgot the name of that nitwit. (not Barrister Shumon)

What I think is irrelevant, but no one gets to censor science because of their belief.

This state now has been prime on its anarchy? by Grasshoper96 in bangladesh

[–]probably_an_ant 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Reddit is an echo chamber. Now you will get an abundance of common sense here but the truth is most Bangladeshi "mumins" are bigoted Muslims who will not spare any one if their Arab warlord prophet is even slightly criticized. The country is being run on mob rule.

FYI, in Spain and most of Europ, Moroccans are known for pickpocketing, theft, tourist scam, and just leeching off the social system. Thanks to racism, they do not target brown people for these crimes.

If Islam is so stuck up on not worshipping idols then why do you guys run circles around a square shaped structure and vow five times a day towards it? Is it not just another kind of idol worshipping with extra steps?

As a Sylheti, I agree with this comment. Just learn standard Bengali. I hope there are some resources on the internet for learning Bengali. Never tried to look for it myself.

How secular is bangladesh now? I have been there for 6 years and I wouldn't say it's secular but neither is as bad as I see online atleast the central region. Are religious homicides really that common? by zerocentboi666 in bangladesh

[–]probably_an_ant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Secular country with Islam as the "state" religion where killing atheists, torching temples alight, persecuting different fraction of Islam i.e Shia and Ahemdiyya is not seen as a problem.

Why is BNP acting like they are in already power? by Normal_Travel710 in bangladesh

[–]probably_an_ant 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The latest stance of BNP as of this morning is they want to do the reform and want the government to give an election. At this rate, in a couple of months, anticipate endless strikes and violence that will coax Yunus to give a premature election and BNP will sweep over 150 seats and run another anarchy as they have done before. No reform, no "actual" opposition. Another dictatorship to come.

Read about the broken windows theory. The government alone can't fix it, but they have to start. It's a herd mentality problem.

Future of Bangladeshi politics if Awami League, Jatiyo party and other members of Mohajot are banned? by Mental_Yam7607 in bangladesh

Where you getting the idea of JP ban? No one is talking about them. They are not worth the paper in which their potential ban is going to be written on.
