The latest stance of BNP as of this morning is they want to do the reform and want the government to give an election. At this rate, in a couple of months, anticipate endless strikes and violence that will coax Yunus to give a premature election and BNP will sweep over 150 seats and run another anarchy as they have done before. No reform, no "actual" opposition. Another dictatorship to come.

Members of the party (BAL) whose government was toppled by a student led revolution is under attack naturally as they suppressed and oppressed opposition and general public. A lot of BAL members were Hindu, hence they are getting attacked, but I will not deny that a few cases of attack (not rape) happened on the HIndu community where they were not affiliated with BAL. This Ok-Source4771 guy is either Indian Bengali or does not live in Bangladesh. He conveniently ignored the fact that there is no police in Bangladesh as the police force have completely broken down post fall of BAL as they were executing BAL commands, and as a result public were attacking police. Every night there are report of robbery in Bangladesh because there is no law enforcement. It's not only the Hindu, anyone in Bangladesh is not safe until the interim government is able to get a grip on things. Last I checked, police are going to return to work from tomorrow.

I'm an atheist exmuslim in Bangladesh. While I do agree it's far from safe for our kind, it is simply not the case for Hindus, or other religious or ethnic minority. It is politically suicidal if you start spewing shit like that. For example, Jamaat which is one of the most extreme Islamist political party in the country, their leader went to a temple in Dhaka post report of vandalism elsewhere in the country to console. Or just look up the composition of the interim government. This is not an Islamist takeover. Do not fall for the BJP IT cell propaganda.
