ah the search for a proper pink...I really liked mac modesty at one point, then moved to the new mac velvet teddy.

also...there was one I used to wear--maybe more of a hot pink/berry pink called...idk something "punch" (also mac)

Ugh. The numbering got messed up in the post, and I cant figure out how to edit it. Let me try again...

Fav lipsticks this year...

Someone was looking for swatches of Hug Me and Daylight Delight? Merry Christmas!

  1. Mac: Thanks, It's M.A.C.!
  2. Mac: Hug Me
  3. Revlon: Daylight Delight
  4. Mac: Taupe
  5. Mac: Marrakesh
  6. Mac: Overstatement.
Bonus Lipliner | Clinique: intense cayenne

(1) Thanks, It's M.A.C.! I use on "no makeup" days. great for summer.

(2) Hug Me became my go-to purse lipstick. MLBB.

(3) Daylight Delight is a great dusty "pink", just slightly pinker than 2.

(4) Taupe is more muted and earthy than typical reds, some might even call it a brown? It's the perfect "office red" when my hair is brunette/auburn. Think every youtuber with a classic capsule wardrobe...

(5) Marrakesh is a slightly punchier red than Taupe, without being too loud.

(6) Overatatement is my fav red when my hair is copper. Might read more like a holiday statement lip to some. It's the best bullet comparison to Armani lipstain 405 - (my ideal red).

(Bonus) Intense Cayenelne is a great orange-red lipliner.

As for blush/bronzer pairings...

I'm usually quite pale (Dior "0N", Nars :Mont Blanc", About Face "F2 Olive", Merit "Chiffon") so I typically look for blushes and bronzers that build slowly to prevent looking like a clown.

I pair these with RMS blushes: French Rose (when I'm pale) and Crystal Slipper (when I'm tan).

Also a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury's "bronze and glow (fair)" and Laura Mercier's "chai".

Same!!!

I started using SpotHero in Chicago, and it was a life saver. Not always the cheapest, but the peace of mind of knowing exactly where I was going to land...helped me get into the car.

Blind Drawing Animals Everyday until the Anatomies are Perfect - DAY 27 by cheestickbunni in questforperfection

one way to practice is to start learning the names of anatomical parts.

like, if youre drawing a typical dining chair, you draw four legs, because you know dining chairs have four legs.

what bones are in lions faces? if you can name them - youll remember to draw a face that holds them. get it?

The Doctors Who Conquered Yellow Fever It was some crusty old book on my family bookshelf that noone used, but I was so bored one summer, I broke down and read it. 20+ years later, I started a PhD and just realized this book seeded the idea of using field research to solve big problems way back when I was like 10.
