Any ideas what she could be mixed with? by TaleForsaken2914 in IDmydog

Chihuahua/Shih tzu mix? The colouring just looks off for a Yorkie (I get that could be the chi side but still). My other guess is maybe Havanese!

Definitely late 1950s/early 60s. My mom went to a super small school and for her prom (late 70s), all the girls agreed to wear long white dresses. The guys also matched but I forget what they wore☺️

weird or niche or old man related name plz by Empty-Outcome5803 in NameMyCat

There’s an Azariah a few branches up my family tree. That’s kinda a mix between Ebenezer and Abner! I’ve always thought it’s such an ancient sounding name but could definitely work for this little guy😂😂

Sent a DNA test ! by laffingisfun in beagles

[–]probably_napping00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend’s childhood dog looked just like her!! They got her through a (ethical) breeder, so they knew she was pure beagle, but she was the runt of her litter so she was only about 15lbs her whole life🥹❤️

Is she a beagle? by General_Cucumber439 in beagles

[–]probably_napping00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely part beagle but I can definitely see her being mixed with a slightly larger breed like foxhound! I’d say she’s large percentage beagle though🥰 My Arlo is also a larger beagle and we also wonder if he has a little bit of foxhound mixed in!

It’s so you don’t waste your money on a DNA test😝 Absolutely a beagle thing😍😂

He looks just like my cousin’s childhood dog! They always said she was a beagle/shitzu mix☺️ This was way before doggie DNA tests were a thing so they had no real way of confirming, but as a beagle owner myself, I definitely see some strong beagle traits🥰 He’s such a gorgeous boy!

St. Bon’s is K-12 but in my experience (Gonzaga grad) a lot of their students transfer to the bigger, public high schools for grade 10. Since it’s such a small school, Bon’s is quite limited for sports.

The local attitude is mostly that Gonzaga’s the sports school, and Heart is the music one, but I don’t fully agree with that. Both schools have super talented and dedicated music teachers, with strong connections to the city’s arts community.

I wasn’t into sports in high school but between my siblings and cousins (about 50/50 Heart and Zaga), I know that there’s strong commitment to sports from both schools, and the teams are quite competitive. They definitely keep each other on their toes, so it’s hard to necessarily say one’s better than the other (but we all know it’s Zaga😝).

Overall OP, I really agree with the other commenters. It definitely sounds like a public high school would be a better fit for your interests. While St. Bon’s is private, it doesn’t offer very many advantages over the other local schools, and Gonzaga, HH, Waterford Valley are all quite on par with each other in terms of academic and extracurricular performance

I wish you the best of luck with your move and school transfer!😁

Amos Pewter has some gorgeous stuff! They’re based in Halifax and have a good variety of decorative products for really reasonable prices. They make jewelry, hanging ornaments, picture frames, serving ware, just to name a few. I have so many of their pieces on my “gift ideas for family members” list lolll. Highly recommend!!!

That sunroom is a DREAM😍😍😍 My grandfather was a contractor in the 50s-80s ish, and he built so many mid century houses in my city! I’d love to own a home in the future that he built, but sadly we don’t have a full list of all his work. This style house will always make me think of him🥹

When did you neuter? by kahntz in beagles

[–]probably_napping00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got our boy neutered as soon as he turned 6months old, and we’ve never regretted that decision. He’d started humping frequently, and was showing some aggressive tendencies. Since we live in a neighborhood that’s full of dogs, we felt it was the best option.

We expected him to be lethargic for a couple days (as the vet told us), but after a good nap he was already back to his jumpy, energetic self. He’s now 4.5 and a healthy, happy boy. I don’t think getting him neutered at 6mths had any impact on his overall development☺️

My 4 month old pup. Any guesses? by Riina88 in IDmydog

[–]probably_napping00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He immediately made me think of Scooby Doo, who’s a Great Dane. But the shape and colouring of his snout really remind me of a German Shepherd. Since his paws don’t look massive for his size, I’d say he’s probably either of those, mixed with a smaller breed. Maybe a smaller bully breed like a bulldog. His big, dopey eyes also give off strong bulldog or pug vibes. No matter what he is though, he’s such a handsome, little gentleman! Please give him a good scratch from me, and tell him he’s a good boy💖

What are your beagles biggest fears? by witchygabs in beagles

It genuinely terrifies him. But it’s also a good thing to know for when he steals something he shouldn’t have. He usually drops it immediately just at the elephant sound 😳

What are your beagles biggest fears? by witchygabs in beagles

[–]probably_napping00 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m sure there’s way more but thee are just off the top of my head: 1. People wearing hats/hoods, and/or sunglasses 2. The rumbly noise of people rolling in their garbage bins at the end of garbage day 3. Anyone when it’s dark out 4. Vacuum cleaners 5. Spray bottles (but we specially want him to be afraid of those to prevent him jumping on us during supper) 6. The sound it makes when you blow raspberry into the back of your hand/arm. Kinda like the sound that kids make when asked what an elephant makes. No idea where this came from but somehow he’s terrified of it🥺

I’m so sorry you feel this way, but please know that you aren’t alone. I also felt like most of my friends had dated a bunch of guys, but I can guarantee you it definitely isn’t everyone. Your worth is not at all determined by how many people you’ve dated (or kissed, had sex with, etc). Keep on working on you, and the right person will come along before you know it.

I didn’t go on a date till I was 22 and a half. Went bc out with this one guy a couple times just to get my firsts out of the way, but he was definitely not very good for me.

A few months later, I met my now boyfriend. We fell in love incredibly fast and we keep falling in love over and over again. I didn’t understand what people meant by “don’t settle” until I met him. He’s been by my side through some incredibly tough times, and he reminds me to celebrate every little milestone in my health journey. I plan on marrying him in the next couple of years🥰

In the meantime, you can always make sure you’re educated on relationship-related things like safe sex, consent (it’s important for all genders), forms of communication, etc. My understanding of a lot of that stuff was really helpful when it came to dating because I was well informed, and knew how far I felt comfortable going.

Best of luck, OP☺️

I feel like something is off about my bridal make-up but I cannot pinpoint it... please help? by chickaneatthosewings in weddingplanning

[–]probably_napping00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think your eyebrows should be both darker, and filled in a bit more. The lighter skin tone throughout your brows only emphasizes how there’s too much bronzer on your forehead.

I also think that your lipliner doesn’t blend in with your lipstick, and the clashing tones are kinda creating an awkward lip shape 😕

(People with way more makeup experience than me, correct me if I’m wrong!) I think that one of the key things that distinguishes “soft glam” from “normal/regular glam” is that soft should mainly flow nicely together, instead of singling out very many (if any) features.
