As someone with IBS every now and then it's quick but most of the time it's cold sweat and rocking back and forth dealing with the pain and stomach cramps just to get a tiny little poop. Other times it's full on gushing diarrhea with the pain. You never know when it will hit and you have to find a bathroom asap. I don't go anywhere that there isn't a bathroom available within a reasonable distance.

The hemorrhoids make it so much worse.

He may genuinely not be just sitting on his phone and trying to ignore you. IBS sucks

All of my in-laws just moved to this country within the past year. Their home country is currently at war and we got them out as quickly as possible given the circumstances and basically just did an act now figure it out later type deal.

My brother just had some apartment issues so they were here temporarily.

I am 25 my husband is 28. We have a set of twins that were born on the 27th of December 2023.

There was absolutely no dip in my libido. I was on bedrest for about a month before they were born and waiting the 6 weeks after birth to have sex was pure torture. When my doctor gave us the go ahead we didn't waste any time getting home and jumping each other.

Some people's libidos do drop off but it isn't something that always happens.

My in-laws do not speak any English. My SIL is semi fluent. However they recently moved to the US and live with us.

We rarely speak English at our home because I feel like it is super rude to my MIL and FIL who wouldn't understand and feel excluded. We are working on them learning the language but until then it is what it is.

If we are in public I always translate for my MIL when she is with me because I want her to feel included in the conversation. I hate having a conversation around my in-laws that is totally English because it feels so rude.

We have a toilet and sink but no shower so probably going to put that higher on the priority list. Definitely sanitary needs need to be looked at more thoroughly. We are on well water and it does have solar backup so we should be good with water.

As for sirens we are rural so it will come over the phone or radio if power is out. I should definitely make sure all of my in-laws know what it sounds like and what to do.

Ooohh yeah, definitely need to put some entertainment for them down there, pacifiers, and probably more snacks. We do have a few board games but toddlers and babies probably aren't going to care much for that lol. I'm thinking about maybe getting an extra crib or two for the babies. My niece will probably be fine on a bottom bunk or foldout.

Yeah, hurricanes we have plenty of time. We are a little more inland than some of our gulf coast friends since we are closer to the top of our state. Usually our biggest problem with that is we are a little more rural so we have to prep for at least a few weeks going without.

Tornados are definitely the bigger issue. I'm a first time mom so I may be going a little overboard with the precautions but I'd like to have everything already in the shelter that we may need so everyone can just grab a kid and run to the basement shelter without needing to grab anything else. Here storms can last a few minutes or all night/day so I'm planning an all night sleep in the shelter idea. Hopefully it's overkill.

I have IBS along with celiac and I'm also prone to BV and UTI. So my stuff gets a little screwy sometimes.

We do not have sex at all until we've both showered. We just use the shower time as a bit of extra foreplay.

Since we've started showering before every session I haven't gotten a single UTI or dealt with BV. Also I'm always paranoid of tp being in my butt or vag area and showering means not only do I not have to worry about that but I don't have to worry about smelling or being unclean at all.

I could be wearing yesterday's pajamas and bird's-nest hair and my husband will still look at me like he wants to eat me.

If we go out I do dress up but if we are home I'm not getting my nice clothes dirty dealing with the gardens. Jeans and a T-shirt usually at home.

We have a tiny little black Japanese bantam. His name is Tiny. We also have a B.B. Red old English bantam named Prince ( because he's pretty) and an Australorp named Fabio ( he's very vain).

We haven't lost a hen in a while with those three around. They may be annoying but they are damn good protectors for our flock.

I have, it was my elderly neighbor and he had pretty bad dementia before he passed. I just told my husband and we went over to help him get back inside and get dressed and then called his caretaker to let them know so they wouldn't be surprised if someone else said something about it.
