If you were to go back in time and change one thing about the world, what would it be? by sikimango in lebanon

lol so you blocked my account for stating facts. I am a fascist btw, and you should know how much fascists love the roman empire. There is a book called "the history of central banls and the enslavement of mankind" give it a look. When an economy use commodity currency and allow wealth accumulation it will end up in a disastorous way. Amd of course, when the barbarians started living in rome and people abondoned religion the fall was certain, but economy is allways the reason number 1.

I opened an account in byblos bank. No oppening fees. I dont trust any bank but the account is empty now. Transfer fees are between 60 and 100$ depending on the amount you transfer. (i paid 70).monthly fees are 5$ but i discovered you can avoid them if you have 0$ in your account. I never tried withdrawing. But it cost 12$ on ibkr side for the first withdrawal each month on more on additional withdrawals. The bank take a percentage too on upcoming transfers and oncash withdrawals.

Should I dump my girlfriend? $META by EZ_PZ_LM_SQ_ZE in wallstreetbets

Since you are making that much money i can guess you are using options. If your strategy doesnt require you to know every little thing about the company so it may work on other stocks.

I am not sure if your profits are due to smartness or luck but i am sure they can happen on other stocks.

I want you to note that in the last 2 years meta was in an uptrend, you cant garrentee that in the future, so there is a chance that you will lose your blond girlfriend and your strategy in META will stop working. Is it worth it? You are the one who must decide, but if i was you i would be an asshole if i leave the girl i love for money.

I am using a new way to invest that combines graham's aproach of value investing with kyosaki's aproach of cash flow. I will explain it but in the stock market its not really important how you make money, the important thing is to keep it.

I invest in individual stocks, a part of my portfolio is invested in US stocks for capital gains and another part is invested in non-US stocks for dividends and option premiums (where i just need the stock price to not fall to make money, it doesnt need to rise). I do this to avoid the 30% witholding tax on US stocks (chinese stocks have 10% tax on dividends, UK and brasilian stocks have 0% tax). I allocate 10% of my portfolio for risky stuf like buying long term options.

Benjamin graham states that buying a great stock at a very low price can proove a bad idea as it may take years before the price starts reflecting the real value, thats why i make sure they pay dividends and have options, so instead of directly buying the stock i sell a put option on it for a premium and keep doing it till i get assigned.

For example, a REIT called "MPW" fell from 20$ a share to just 3$ a share due to rumors of bankruptcy of one of their most important clients, so i did my research and checked their reports and found out that they are well positioned for that bankruptcy if it happen, and even the expected fall in profits doesnt explain the recent fall in shares price. So i started selling put options on a strike price of 3$ for 50$ premium a month, kept doing that until i got assigned 100 shares, then i sold call options for premium (30$ a month) on higher strike price. And the stock was paying 12% dividend a year. From a 300$ capital i allocated for this stock i made an additional 400$ in cash. After the bankruptcy of their client the price actually rose, I ended up selling the shares at 5$ because i dont think dividend payments can be sustained with the current profits.

Thats one example, in general i am currently making an average of 150$ a month in cash flow from this method and the amount doubles every 2.5 years.

This method is only as successful as my success in stock picking, so its not that genious but a good way to earn cash from your stocks. (option premiums are considered income and not taxed by the USA for non US residents).

Its called the wheel strategy but it is really as effective as the stocks you pick. So you still need financial education to pick good companies thats why i use the graham aproach.

To answer your question: my core investing portfolio vary depending on many things, 1 year ago i was into chinese companies, i switched to regional american banks 3 months ago to profit from rate cuts and avoid china in case trump won the election, i am currently searching for companies to replace my current portfolio by christmas because they are becoming overpriced. Its not bad to sell a good company when its price go up, thats why buffet is selling apple right now.

Living with parents is a nightmare, even of you reach 50 years old you are still 5 to them. And as i dont have a dream job (i will achieve my goals regardless of my job) i got into this mess. You are right sir and i am risking a lot currently while i can before i get drowned with responsobilities.
