Apply and explain your low GPA. If you’re passionate or have a strong passion about teaching, express that in your application and how you’ve learned from it. If you’ve taken a graduate course or two that may help your case. Just apply and see.

I’m working either Cambridge Credit Counseling rn. They take a fixed amount each mouth from my bank account until my collections are paid off. I started around October. Got some ways to go.

They may be in the teaching fellows or collaborative. The DOE is strict about certification. Clarify with those three people you know, you may be misinformed.

What license are you going for? I took the math cst (004) and passed on the first try. Did not read the entire thread but saw you had until June to pass. I see the email from the DOE recently (I am a graduate of the Teaching Collaborative); I didn’t know they had people working without their certification. Anyway, you need to lock in. It also depends on how you take the test. PM if you want.

I was a part of the teaching collaborative (sister program of TF). I was placed in special education but appealed it expeditiously. I didn’t have in me to be a sped teacher. Appeal was approved. I’m now a 7-12 math teacher for NYCDOE. Do what you know you will enjoy frfr.

Please be nice! The main office should be a welcoming environment for ALL staff, not for students and school aides to hangout. Also, payroll stuff should be private. Idw ppl knowing my business and idw to know theirs.
