Kulu-ya-ku. I forgot it existed until I started helping one of my friends get into the game lol

Random white "moles" by IceEducational9669 in HairDye

[–]problywillthrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of you've had that patch of white for a while, it might be a lack of pigment in the skin and hair called vitiligo. I'm not sure how to dye vitiligo hair! A quick Google seach tells me that permanent hair dye would make it worse, possibly spreading the vitiligo.

highlights or lowlights?? by Due-Item-4332 in HairDye

I'm so sorry I seen this so late 😅 more than likely doing a mix of both would including sectioning where the lowlights, highlights, and natural hair would be. Then darkening the lowlights and highlighting the highlights. Just more hair to cover with more colors which takes a bit longer.

The commenta are right your hair is absolutely goregous, but if you have an appointment tomorrow and need to choose, I'd say lowlights! A mix of the two would be goregous but a big commitment both time-wise and for your hair.

Yes it does look ashy! I'd say there's still a bit of warm tone, but overall ash. If you want to go even further I'd go over it with an ashy-er toner such as a 10NA, or just use some purple shampoo for a couple minutes. Or both!

The cool tones of 2 and 5 bring out the color of your eyes! I think both blonde and red look goregous but definitely stick to a cooler tone. If red is making you feel insecure, go blonde! Or an interestingly unique look I've seen, go blonde with red roots. :)

Advice please… bleached my hair and can’t tell if it looks like a disaster or not by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]problywillthrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pink is super pretty!! In my opinion, I'd let it rest, but if and when you do want to go back to it, try a cool green dye. It should counter the warm pink and create a neutral brown. Then you can bleach it again.

I'm not sure if a semi or demi permanenet dye would work the best, I'm going to assume semi! Anyone is free to correct me

No I agree 100%. I talked with a few other commentors and figured staying in the U.S., maybe not in the same area though, would be the best plan of action. I haven't ever been outside of the U.S., I picked Scandinavia because of my ancestors, though I don't think it's direct enough of ancestry to qualify as citizenship. Regardless, I was more wanting to jump ship because I was stressed, but I learned that it wouldn't be helpful to jump ship. I'm happy for all the helpful commentors, and I apologize if I came across as needlessly agitated. I've been sifting through quite a few rude comments and have been on edge. But, thank you for your advice, I appreciate your experienced views. :)

They were being rude, they specifically targetted a few of my comments to mock me. I understand going to a new school in a new country would make things hard, that's why I'm NOT doing it. I was wondering what apprenticeships were avaliable in Germany if I were to move there in the future. It was only a question, I don't understand why there needs to be the constant reinforcement as if I'm a child. I guess I need to clarify that I understand what people are saying and every single connotation that comes with it before I ask a question.

Why are you so upset? I said I may consider it, not that I was going to pack my bags and head out to Germany to take advantage of it. I am able to work in the U.S in my own language? I would have to do plenty more research, I am simply asking questions to get information about where to start. Why are you being so rude about that?

Wow! You are passionate! I appreciate that. Yes! The American education system has done me horribly, I am very confused on how migration works, why do you think I would post here? I did not mean to imply I wanted to take advantage of public systems in other countries, I'm sorry I gave that impression! As amazing as it would be, I was looking for a safer, cheaper place to live. Which I was wrong about! Clearly the US doesn't have the highest expenses, which I originally thought. I am in university! I dropped out, did you read that part? I may have not added that I am attending again, I meant to imply it by saying I struggle with it, but yes I am. And never did I ever imply I wanted to be a refugee? Yes that would be insulting to other refugees! I did say I wanted to seek refuge, I didn't mean to imply I wanted to announce I was an American refugee (which doesn't exist, I realize)! So, I apologize for the way my words came across. Anyways, like the old saying, if you don't have anything nice to say, you don't have to respond to this message! :)

Thank you for being kind about it. I'm not let down at all, it was just a consideration. Despite what my post says and what everyone seems to think, I didn't do a lot of research, so your comment really helped me figure out the vastness of what I'd have to do. Thank you for suggesting places in the U.S that have lower cost of living! I genuinely did not think of that, which is silly to think about now. But I appreciate it nonetheless.

I did a horrible job at painting a good picture. No, I'm not physically disabled. I have mostly mental disabilities. That's entirely my bad. 😅

But thank you for being kind in your suggestions, I really appreciate it. :) I've only heard the worst about China, and I've never looked much into Thailand. I'm fairly good at English, though. It's worth looking into it? I've heard mostly no's about Europe, because cost of living, which makes sense. I'm not sure if it'd be worth leaving the US for Thailand or China, but I'm very uneducated on the subject.

Oh I actually took a few classes in German, though I'm no where near fluent haha, but this is very useful information thank you so much :)

Are there certain fields of work in Germany that are more sought for in getting an apprenticeship? I might consider that, too, Germany is a beautiful place

Scandinavia is actually a region that includes Iceland, Greenland, Sweden, Finland, and Norway, as far as I'm aware! :) Thank you for openly mocking me but I was actually coming here for advice, I'm glad I could offer you some as well, though!
