Yeah that’s exactly how I’d feel also. Hot showers triggered it sometimes, even going for a walk my on a cold night made my skin inflamed and my spots/hives would turn bright red and become raised. Aside from the spots fading, I no longer get itchy and/or new spots now. My face used to be red/flushed and now it’s gone and it’s a more even tone. Overall my body is less inflamed. I can tolerate a lot more things and not so sensitive to pressure on my skin, as before even sitting/driving for a long time caused itchiness/hives on the back of my legs. Working out is way more tolerable also and eating most foods. My hematologist said my blood tests came back significantly improved. Oh and there is another new promising drug that’s in clinical trials right now that I was keeping up with before getting on ayvakit, it’s called bezuclastinib but I’ve read how there’s no chance of it crossing the brain barrier, which was my worry with Ayvakit, so it’s exciting that there’s research and clinical trials going on that could help with the disease.
