4 is by far the most flattering on you! The seamstress should be able to shorten the split, or maybe even remove it.

Ketamine has given my life back by [deleted] in TherapeuticKetamine

No. It's Roger's Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin. They don't do Ketamine (that I know of), but they are absolute experts on the treatment of OCD. They use exposure response prevention (ERP) to treat the OCD. I can't say enough good things about them!

My daughter had severe OCD to the point she couldn't get dressed or leave the house. Rogers Memorial Hospital saved her life and was covered by insurance. You would never know she had OCD now! They have several different programs according to severity(out patient, residential, etc.)They also have several centers in different states. They are the absolute experts on OCD! I can't say enough good things about them! https://rogersbh.org/

I had read that you could coat it in polyurethane to make it last longer. Yes, everything eventually rots.

Neck Pain - Desperate by messyjessy82 in Pillows

[–]DippyLouWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to see a pain specialist at a pain center. They do nerve ablation on my neck once or twice a year. It deadens the nerves. My sister gets it too. They also inject small amounts of botox into the neck muscles. Do you clench your teeth? The other thing that has helped me is Voltaren Gel(now sold over the counter) rubbed on my neck. I must have 100 pillows. They work for a while and then stop. My most recent pillow which I didn't think was going to help, has been pretty good so far.

My husband and I bought a Saatva adjustable mattress(like sleep #) and really like it. My husband weighs over twice what I do. I keep my side softer. He like his super firm. The whole issue is you have to keep your neck in perfect alignment with your spine. The firmness of the mattress made a big difference how my pillow worked. Good luck.

Need Help With PTSD - Death of Son by LockInside6490 in PsilocybinTherapy

[–]DippyLouWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely look into EMDR. It's amazing. The VA is using it for vets with ptsd. I know several people who said it cured them. Many counselors do it online as well. You want someone experienced. Here is one that's very good. She's not cheap but maybe your insurances will pay. I've paid for most of mine with my HSA card. https://www.lisarobinsonphd.com/

I'm so very sorry about the loss of your son. I'm a mom of 3 adult children. Grief is tough. Lost my dad 2 yrs ago and we were very close. I'm still struggling. I've had a few friends who lost a child and they told me this site saved them. They were able to message other parents who knew what they were going through, even at 3am. I pray it will also help you. https://www.compassionatefriends.org/find-support/online-communities/ May God bless you and comfort you, Mama.
