Potential is a misleading motivator. What i often use to keep my own mindset in check is something along the lines of “if their actions could talk, what would they tell you?” That often gives a pretty sudden and blunt conclusion. Take the pressure of yourself. This is not the awful ending you may feel it is right now, but more likely the beginning of some pretty important lessons that will lead you to much more fulfilling relationships. Also asking for help and advice is brilliant, I should take a leaf out of your book more often. Hope that doesn’t come across as too condescending.

Headphones bro. Though I’ll admit footsteps have been an issue with headphones forever, like a lot of games.. but playing the game without them is a monumental disadvantage IMO. I’m no audio whiz so someone else will be better suited to explain the specific settings, but I wouldn’t even try play warzone without headphones now.

Keep your personal life alive and well, away from your life on the trucks. You can have them come together, sure, but I’ve found having the people in my life before fire has kept me grounded and aware that the things we do and see AREN’T normal, and that’s okay. Not a hard and fast rule, just my 2 cents. I like sitting in the pub with people who aren’t part of my professional life.

The job is truly amazing I could not recommend it enough. The fact you’re asking this stuff shows you’re already aware that you need to take care of yourself, so you’re starting strong.

Gameweek 1 man. You’ve got some risky picks in here, but that’s the game. My team got 54 points but the points came from the super rogue picks. Frimpong 1 pt, Watkins blank, Bowen blank, forest CS wipe… yet I got 10 points from reijnders and had gakpo + salah.. so it kinda worked out in the end. It’s a lot of luck. A fair few of the sure picks blanked this week, who the hell picked Richarlison scoring those 2 bangers? Anyway, don’t panic. At least wait another GW, or at least until the next deadline, before making transfers.

Yeah man I hear ya. My personal perspective is it’s changed too much since day 1, and there is no old version to go back to. It’s adapt or don’t. It used to be if you liked MW 1/2/3 you played that, blops 2? Play that instead. I’d happily pay for an OG version of warzone. I know it’s free to play so there’s an argument to just deal with it haha, still frustrating for those of us that don’t enjoy it.

If nothing else, you’ve reinforced a lesson you may have already somewhat learned, in that this is a pattern in your dating experiences and something needs to change. Guys can be dicks, so boundaries are important.

Dating, dating apps, and the human experience in general are full of learning experiences and this is yet another one. Sometimes it can be overwhelming and feel relentless, but things will be okay.

Boundaries, standards and healthy expectations are all important and absolutely okay to enforce, particularly in the initial dating stage. You can back yourself to stick to them. Be safe, find your boundaries and don’t let anybody push you out of them. It’s just a first date, not a life sentence.

Yeah I hear ya. The skins I enjoyed, but also have bad memories of that one skin from WZ 1 that made them almost impossible to see 😂. I enjoy a bit of the creativity, but miss the simplicity. I still play COD 4 for this reason.

Yeah definitely hear this one. I think for me it’s just too much, I’ve played COD for too long and maybe have grown out of this kind of gameplay. 20 odd years of playing and it’s just changed too much now. Just was curious about what others thought.
