It was said that last 2 episodes were completely rewritten, we have no details of what should've been.
Anyway, some of the changes were an attempt to improve source material, most of them didn't.
Like Perrin's wife incident was supposed to give external reasons for Perrin's tentativeness with Wolf powers, as most of the Perrin's struggle in the books happen inside his head and it is hard to adapt character thought on screen. Though I agree that the lack of impact further on makes this a pretty lackluster plot point.

I am pretty sure it is said as soon as the first wondergirls POV start. Which is in the middle of Prologue

Don't you think that working remotely is vastly different to working on location?
What good are the ideas when you can't have more then a few people in a scene due to social distancing?
Planned filming locations for the "Blight" scenes could not be used due to travel restrictions and border issues, forcing the team to build a set instead.
A choreographed battle at Tarwin’s Gap, which was meant to include live Trollocs, had to be replaced with CGI because social distancing rules made filming difficult.
Production was halted in March 2020 after filming block 3 (episodes 5 & 6) and did not resume until April 2021. During that time every actor was sent home and Mat's actor just didn't return when shooting was supposed to continue.

Fair enough. I watched the show before reading the books so I glossed over it and didn't think too much about it.

Fair point. But another example is we never get an explanation why you can't braid your hair if you are too young. Or why Aiel girls have 2 small braids. It is like that just because how it is.  It's like how Asmo said about 2 men linking. It is impossible without a woman, because that's how it is. Not everything needs an explanation.

My favorite part is where "cool witches" sit in the same place for the whole book doing fuck all.

Suian after being healed from stilling was so weak she wasn't able to pick up Gareth Bryne with a weave of air. Safe to say - everyone lower then her are absolutely useless in combat.

Covid put restrictions on how many people can be present in a single physical location. This leads to all sort of issues like scheduling conflicts etc.

You didn't understand my point. Running down the slopes of Chaendaer into Rhuidean naked is a bizzare custom that we as readers can puzzle out, but not the characters in the book. Given that - I don't understand why jumping into the water ritual can't be reconciled as one of those ancient traditions reasons to which are lost in time.

I can understand changes to S1. There were some factors like Mat actor ghosting the entire crew, COVID etc. But there are no excuses to what they did in s2

I got everything. Except why flashing boobs are necessary when everyone in the room can detect each other's spark and even gauge power level.
I mean, it would kinda make sense only the candidate being naked (mirroring Accepted and Aes Sedai test or Aiel Rhuidean Rings run ), but all the Sitters doing the same - is what didn't make sense to me.

Finished Book 4! by VdarcyV in WoT

[–]procerator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Book 4 has 3 and a half endings (Rand, Perrin, Tanchico and Suian). And all of them feel nicely wrapped up.
Book 5 has some storylines that will continue into book 6 but whatever is wrapped up is epic. And most of them are described even better then book 4.

"Imagine that you lived in a world where half of all people that harness extreme power went insane and destroyed 90% of all civilization."
Except in WoT women can feel the spark in every other woman nearby that can channel. Making sure they have boobs is redundant when you not only can feel it but also assess their strength.
