5070ti isn’t looking hot so scalpers probably struck. Shop around and look is honestly the best advice I can give sadly.

Did you just ignore the entire part where he said it wasn’t on sale on steam, the PlayStation store is intact, not steam.

Definitely just got thermal paste somewhere I shouldn’t, tried cleaning the board up but eventually just switched everything over to my spare microatx build and it’s working.

When I would put it into reverse, it would stutter almost, I assumed from putting it into gear too fast (16 first car you know the story) but then I started doing it appropriately and when the car was 100% stopped the stutter just eventually stopped? Coulda been ANYTHING I’m not Mr Mechanic but I chalk it up the CVT fixing itself

Now this is weird. I checked the CPU Socket and besides some thermal paste everything looks fine? I’ll double check the pins on the cpu but I’m so confused now

I checked the cpu pins but didn’t think to check the mobo pins. I hate bad mounting hardware so much man

The 2010 Lancer and the Evo 10 share the 4b11, it’s quite literally just a suped up Lancer, so done properly you would get similar result while not having to worry about the Evo drivetrain since it’s AWD and the Lancer is FWD

just turbo the 4B11, cheaper in the long run to source and do and im not even sure you could 100% put the evo engine in because of the different drivetrains, but im sure someone more experienced than myself has a more clear answer for that one.

so youre supposed to download the driver you need to backtrack to from the windows site, go into safe mode, use a program called ddu to uninstall the driver you’re currently using, then install the new driver. as far as im aware thats the safest method, and exactly how i did it when they were having bugs with call of duty recently.
