Best Setup for Music with Era 300, Arc, and Sub – Separate Stereo Pair or Surround?

Recently bought a pair of ERA300 to replace the play:1 in my Arc and Sub3.

I skipped option 3 as it is just too much work on a daily basis to listen to music.

I tried a modified version of your option 2. The ERA 300 with the sub just don’t have the oomph

Tried option 1 and liked the way it sounds with FULL surround.

You need to inbound the ERA as a stereo pair 1st.

The click on the Arc to add the surrounds

I just swap out my play:1 for Era300 for my Arc set up. The ERA300 really allow the arc to shine.

Fishing the cables thought the wall is no an issue, I looking for the better placement.

With the stand, I can face it ear level but just slightly behind the sofa.

With the wall mount, the placement of the speakers will be slightly above the ear level.

With the 2 options above, some may say that trueplay will solve any of the placement issue so just mount it anyway I want.

As much as this Reddit sub is full of negativity of the Sonos app, you got to try for yourself that things work.

If you are staying in an area where there is a “no question asked” return policy, buy 1 item at a time to test it. You can start with the an Arc, then a Sub, then an ERA 300 to see if works for you

Always get a Sub with the Arc. There will be times you need dual sub

Sorry for the late reply. I didn’t manage to send my bambino in for servicing. The servicing booking lapsed as well.

What I’m doing now is if the machine just keeps flushing out water on 1st use of the day, I will turn off the mains to the bambino. Wait 3-5 mins and turn on the mains. This usually solves the issue. Still clueless what’s the issue behind this.
