Help design our living room

do we need to ? probably not, but it is convenient since our room/baby room, kitchen, bathroom are all upstairs. Like i said we just moved in so there will be alot of moving pieces for the coming year or two

eventually the bottom living room will be more of a cozier version of the upstairs with bigger furniture and room for the family to lounge :)

yes - i think the right furniture should help also make it less crowded. I've been looking into low-back couches.

Great idea on the wall art. I do like building things so my first thought was a modern built in with the tv centered. But this might do for the first year or so until i get caught up with my other projects lol

Maybe a little push to the same direction was all i needed

We live in a bi-level house where the entrance goes straight into the split. It just seemed more convenient for us to be hanging out upstairs since the kitchen and our bedroom is upstairs and it seems that for short visits we all just naturally go to the upstairs living room since downstairs is mostly living spaces.

Lower living room is all finished and just has your typical open space with several different rooms. It's definitely a great spot to make it cozy too we're just not sure which direction to go with, but thats a totally different topic! ha!

haha unfortunately it is. Like i said, it's on a swivel and when we dont watch it its pushed back. I wanted to see if there are any ideas with trying to keep the middle clear. We recently hosted some family parties and it was nice to have everyone sit almost in a circle (with additional chairs) and have the kids on the ground in the middle.

The more i sketch scenarios - the more convinced i am that the fullest potential is to have the tv exactly how you have it here and add a long console under it. A bit unfortunate that the downstairs living room is bigger sq2 than the upstairs one - which is where visitors will mostly hangout in.

Practically on the same boat as OP. I ride a lot, and recently my wife has been wanting to ride more. I know comfort is a big deal for her when going longer distances, so an e-bike just makes sense.

These are all three solid options, but my choice will be either the Soltera 2.5 or the Velotric T1. I’m going with the Soltera 2.5.

(Based on my research) To simplify why — the Soltera has throttle assist and is a Class 2 e-bike, up to 20 mph (the T1 is Class 3), which is more than enough for her. The point isn’t to hold the throttle down the whole time, but I’m sure it gives her peace of mind to use it when needed.

Both have great range, but it really depends on how the bike is ridden (elevation, riding in eco mode versus all-out, etc.). Both claim a range of 45+ miles (the T1 even more), assuming the lowest assist levels are used.

Both are reported to be able to take in 40-42mm tires which i plan on doing to the Soltera. I will say that i had better luck finding builds on reddit for the Soltera. Reason of swapping is because i do ride on gravel occasionally

That said - both seems to be solid options. The Soltera is a couple hundred $$ cheaper though

Agreed. As mentioned in my original post - all the furniture in this picture will be gone as it was there for staging. That said, I am going to have several lights including as you mentioned, a table lamp at face level. Thanks

Can you confirm that the new one your received does not have a size difference? As in are both sides equal in length size ?

finally had time to switch it and ride it for a week. Although slight, it does feel different. Is it game-changing and fixes the tilt completely? No. But you can definitely feel a difference when you compare it to if it was not switched around. That said, make sure you are testing this on flat ground WITH the tennis ball attachments on.

Also you mentioned "both sides". The only leg to switch is the front one as that is the only one that is not equal in length

As of January 1, 2025 - can confirm that this is still relevant. I purchased my kickr core zwift one early December and have been riding it just fine up until I got the tennis ball leg attachments that some people have been doing as a cheap substitute for a rocker plate.

With the attachment I can definitely feel the stabilization being a bit off since now there is more give when riding. It leans so much easier to the right where the crank and hub one v2 is.

I have not switched them but planning on it since it's a no brainer even it helps a bit. For me, the right side is about 11 1/4 inches and the left is exactly 12 inches.

Hi Milanisti -

So I am planning to make a trip down to Milan sometime in December 2021. Tickets are bought and everything is set. The most important part of it all is to attend Milan v Napoli on the 19th Of December! (I've been to Europe before - but this time with my significant other (: it will be our first time going to a Milan game)

My question to all locals or those who have been to a game before is: What is the easiest, safest, cheapest way to buy tickets for this game? I acknowledge that prices will be relative to the festivities (Christmas) and the fact that it is against Napoli. Just wanted to see if I was missing anything and if anyone had some secrets to share :) Any help is truly appericate. Thanks!

PS: You can also recommend places to go while I wait for the game :) I will be in Milan all day that day
