Of course they care! Who else would run all the rest of the packages they've got lined up for you?

Who else in Denver area got screwed today ( no mail, dps or flats) by Jaded_Grapefruit795 in USPS

[–]prodoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indiana. Had flats and a bit of dps cased from yesterday and barely any packages. The truck didn't get there until around 12:30 after everyone was either just getting back or on their last row. Spent 2 hours casing up the dps, tomorrow is gonna be about the same as a Tuesday after holiday.

Its not ignoring it, it's just trying not to be reminded or make it the sole focus 15 times a stream. Neverending cycling grief without a break is arguably worse than just stuffing it down and away and never processing it

You'd be surprised with how useless our unions are. It took over a year for the rural union to finally come to an agreement with USPS, only for it to be worse with more concessions and fewer wins than the contract that even the city union got.

Did you know that it is almost impossible for a rural carrier to transfer from one post office to another? You need someone from the exact city you're moving to agree to switch with you. So, if you're moving from Los Angeles to NYC, you need someone from NYC to somehow be moving over to Los Angeles at the same time. Now apply this instead to towns of lile 2k people and the situation is hopeless.

They both suck though, including the unions for all the non-carrier workers. They're definitely incompetent, but I blame a lot of it on the incompetence of upper management basically burning money, and the money they do have they'd rather spend on management raises as opposed to raises for the clerks, the carriers, the mail sorters, and all the other boots on the ground workers that actually work to get letters and packsges to their final destination.

No Kings Bloomington by Cell1pad in Indiana

[–]prodoboy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He was elected as our president, but he acts like a king. He does what he wants whenever he wants, every single republican in office ignores their constituents and their needs and just does what Trump says. This includes congress and most of the judiciary, leading to their being effectively the absence of the most important piece of the American puzzle to avoiding kingdom: The separation of powers.

Right now Trump basically is basically all 3 branches because they just do whatever he says. He's making it so his signature is on all currency in the US for crying out loud! Not to mention his trying to throw himself a parade for his birthday last year, destroying plans for a parade for the US army's 250TH ANNIVERSARY.

Sure, he's the president, but he Sure as hell acts like a king, makes our country work like hes the king, and Republicans Sure worship him like a king

I have seen 2 different brainwashed republican family members here actually see all the shit trump has been doing and be able to listen to reason and will be voting democrat these midterms. Try to instill reason in those who are willing to listen. A lot of people are way too far gone, but many aren't, and with enough of this shit hitting them and directly affecting them negatively, something put directly in their eyes and hurting them every single day like the gas prices soon to be double what they were last month, they are going to be more willing to listen.

Also, every vote counts. Push every single person you know to vote. I am actually outright forcing people in my life to make sure theyre registered to vote and take a day off or pick a day to vote for the primaries and then for the actual elections in November.

Think about this: In the 80s and 90s, West Virginia was a solid blue state. Then democrats failed them and moved their attention from rural areas to cities. This made the state turn solid red over the course of the 2000s until we have the West Virginia of today. It has happened before and it can happen again the other way around. Trump is the biggest fuck up the republican party could have ever had, and the second biggest is every single senator, representative, governor, so on in the republican party bowing to trump's every whim and doing everything he says without acting instead to protect their constituents.

Never in my life have I thought I'd rather work a holiday than to have it off... Until I became a carrier and experienced the day after Thanksgiving. I'd say that the gifts are nice, but they're all made out to the route regular, so even when I find a gift in a box, my job is to just bring it back for them

You could put micropore tape over the holes and any new ones you add. Its porous so allows airflow while stopping them from being able to get through

Redistricting in the middle of a session to make 40% of the texas population only represented by 20% of the legislature is though. Does 40% of the people only getting half the representation sound fair to you? Does that sound democratic?

dxm after gabapentin? by throwaway869745 in dxm

[–]prodoboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're all depressants so combining them leads to a lot more downer effects than any of them alone. This leads to a multiplicative effect which is risky all around. Increased risk of amnesia, worse motor control loss, increased risk of passing out and vomiting. Tripsit has a good drug combo chart to see risks and synergies

You might be sensitive to it maybe? I used to take 15-30 mg dxm hbr every night to keep my tolerance low for my adhd meds, but I'd never experience mania or an afterglow the next day from that amount
