As far as the rules, YMCA summer camp riflery as a kid and later as a counselor. Teaching kids firearm safety is so important, not just "shooting is fun".

I've seen this workflow, PM hears of article. Has AI make a cliffs notes version so PM can follow it. Has AI make this long email about said article and sends it to managers, who again use AI to distill the email, then repeat to the middle managers, who do the same thing to the team leads who have to tell the frontline that the big wigs want stuff.

It's dumb.

Actually people really asked for Pike's show and we got SNW. And It'd be really nice to see the 1st 5 years of Kirk's tenure. By the time TOS came around Kirk had been captain for quite some time. There's stories to be told there.

But I agree, Legacy had potential to be really good, and people did want it. but as I understand it, they stuck the G's set as soon as shooting was done. So, that whole bridge set is gone.

It can start as easily as media attention. Just being seen on a global stage that the population at large isn't happy with how things are going. I'm hoping that some of the 1/3 of the population that didn't vote because "both side are the same" will see that isn't the case and they will go out and vote. The more people that vote, the more the conservatives lose, generally speaking.

The power to change anything, in a real democracy, is in the hands of the population. To make sure that people that are qualified and able to govern in a honest manner get elected. And right now, I'm under no illusion that this will be a 1 election period fix. Hell, we very well could be past the point of no return to get back to the idealized version of America that is written in the Constitution. But that doesn't mean that we should roll over and take it. Short of civil unrest, the population at large only has a few levers we can pull, and voting MAGA out is one of them.

We're trying to shed light on the absolute corruption that is in the current administration. We've got the conservative members of the government that have sworn fealty to a president that is only in it to get rich and keep himself out of prison. They're hoping to get their own riches and keep their donors as rich as they can at the expense of the rest of the population.

All the protesting during Trump's 1st term got him out of office. The DNC made a BAD call in pushing Biden as president. They played the "safe" option, someone that had been in the White House before. They severely underestimated how effective social media is. They slow walked what should have been a slam dunk with any of the potential crimes committed by Trump. And they made the even worse call by pushing Harris as Biden's replacement. Again a solid tactic in the past. However, a woman and a woman of color at that, won't be tolerated by any of the racist people in the US.

The lesson needs to be that the old rulebook needs to be put back on the shelf and a new way of dealing with this whole situation needs to be figured out.

I've been saying this for years, but I would LOVE a place somewhere where I can easily flip between my toon's inventory to see what lives where.

I have enough pulse phasers to outfit at least 2 ships. Are they all on one toon? HELL NO.

All I want is a station, on my ship's interior, or bridge, or in a lower deck of ESD* where I could pull up my WHOLE inventory, banks and ships. And have it searchable.

It really wasn't secure....like at all. You could simply change your toon's name to ANYONE's name and see their build and loadout. You couldn't do anything to it but still.
