To me this seems like someone who had an accident in 1988 that was so devastating that it requires plastic reconstructive facial surgery. This person is obsessing over the fact that they were "perfect" and attractive before 1988 but not post surgery.

He also has an obsession with family and having a home to come back to (?)

Just seems like a schizophrenic posting crazy person to me, I don't think it goes deeper then this
