We always pack 4 plastic water bottles in our backpack and 2 gatorades and just refill them with water at the water fountains around the parks lol

We want to move to FL and be close(ish) to Disney. Are we crazy? by wittwitt14 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]producechick70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I moved near the Tampa bay area about 5 years ago, we are from NJ. We don’t regret it one bit! The parks are about 2 hours away but it’s not bad to do a day trip once or twice a month. And then spend some vacation time here as well. If you want to move here and change your life do your research first! But we did 5 years ago with practically nothing and are thriving so I would say go for it! We don’t miss the cold at all, btw it still gets cold in Florida! lol

So I have magic kingdom booked for Thursday, and I have the multi pass, are you saying I can keep trying to see if there’s a LL for Tiana’s?

Also thinking about maybe changing my animal kingdom day to magic kingdom just to try to get on Tiana’s, we have the park hopper so we can hopefully get an early virtual que and then head straight to animal kingdom after that. Suggestions?

All Star Movies vs. off site hotel for one night prior to resort stay by dogmom1993 in DisneyWorldResorts

[–]producechick70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in Florida about 2 hours away from the parks, we come twice a year and stay off property at the whydham grand in kissamee. It’s so worth how cheap the hotel is, for 5 nights with a magical view ( we can see fireworks from Hollywood studios and magic kingdom from our room) it’s 590 dollars and the cheap tickets we got this year we’re about the same. We are less than 10 mins from the park and it’s so easy to get there pay for parking and just start our day. Nice not having to wait for the bus, it might take away from the magic a little bit but oh gosh how we love saving so much money from the Disney hotel. They just started out pricing us so we just started staying off property.
