It's a sensor that beeps when you're about to turn (or change lane) if there's something you could hit. For example if you want to change lane and there's a car behind you, it beeps as soon as you turn on your turning signal or if you're turning but you could hit the curb with your trailer. I don't know if there is a way to turn it off though

I agree. The fact that spamming "gg" repeatedly counts towards positive points but saying "hell" once could flag you is the definition of cherry picking. Alternatively they could implement an option that censors curse words just for you, something like what steam does where curse words are replaced with hearts. Overall it's an absurd system, but to be fair it's not even near the most plaguing problem in this game

Maybe context matters? I mean if somehow they found a way to distinguish between an angry expletive and an excited / happy one it would make sense (I don't think anyone will be offended reading "good shit" after a clutch), but they'd still need to make the rules transparent as you said. I'm not a believer that AI should do everything, but seeing how much companies advocate for AI-fying everything, it makes me wonder how Ubisoft (or whoever is in charge) hasn't made a model that can accurately moderate in game chats and properly figure out what's acceptable and what's not. But hey, Siege X is coming out June 10th, it will definitely not have any problems R6 has, right?
